Italian Serie A - 2020-2021

Strange double sub from Pirlo, replacing both CB’s, don’t think I have ever seen that before

Just look at the way Ronaldo unlocked the 3rd goal play.

Drew 3 defenders in, away from Morata, they were all over his dummy footwork, then just passed into space to him.

Juve have looked much sharper since he came on.

I hate lineup announcements in video clip form. Hope Lazio lose badly for this.

Roma and defending... :wenger:

Immobile
1-0

Luis Alberto
2-0

This Roma defence is just stepping off way, way too much. No one's pressing up to close down the ball holder or a free player ahead of them. The gap between the midfield and defence is way too big.

Why did Pereira even choose Lazio? Savic & Alberto are top midfielders, the guy never stand a chance to get regular game time over them to begin with.

Yeah, he didn't even start when Lazio had just 13 players available against Club Brugge in Champions League, let alone now.

Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto and SMS are regular starters but having watched what happened tonight even the likes of Akpa Akpro, Escalante and Parolo are ahead of him.. Maybe Inzaghi thinks he's a second striker but Lazio have another three players (Joaquin Correa Felipe Caicedo Muriqi) for one spot in that position..

Vidal scored his last serie A goal, while playing for Juve, over 5 years ago, and today he scores his first serie A goal since, while playing for Inter, against Juve.

Inter much better but still just one goal down. Ramsey has been awfull, shouldn't been starting for Juve.

Starting Rabiot and Bentancur with Arthur and McKennie on the bench is ridiculous, especially Rabiot who has been awful both in attack and in defense.

It was always going to be very tough for Juve regardless given they have about half the starting eleven out injured as always.

Barella is a real talent. That Italy midfield is looking top class for the Euros.

We're about halfway into the season and now it seems safe to say, Pirlo is not doing a good job

signing Ronaldo to make him coached by a rookie.

Juve are starting Danilo, a pretty much retired Chiellini, Bonucci and Frabotta who is midtable quality, it was always going to cost them. They're not the best team in Italy if they have half of their starters out in 90% of their games.

Rabiot for McKennie sub happened 60 minutes too late

It's been a pain to watch Juve play since the start of last season.
Juventus have always been a pain to watch, don't kid yourself. Even their fans hated the football in the Allegri years

They still would with better coaching because the quality of even half their team is higher than anyone else's

The midfield hasn’t been properly addressed for years now. There is no real cohesive link up play, and not enough protection defensively, players like Ramsey, Rabiot etc just don’t offer enough consistently.

They likely would have been better off giving Sarri another season.

I started watching Juve when Ronaldo came in. But with Allegri and looking back it really wasn't perfect, but I mean I could see some grit, some drive, some quality attacking once in a while.

But since Sarri? Goddamn most players look numb and zombie on the pitch. No pace circulating the ball, no deviation from attacking game plan, no creativity, anything.

Yes they should still do better even with all the injuries but it's been a huge factor this season, I think the game at Camp Nou was the only one they had close to a full squad available otherwise there's always a bunch of important players missing

It’s as official as it can be without being actually official....Italy will have a new champion this season. Juve are out of it.

If Juve somehow magically win the title it will be the biggest choke job I have ever seen from one of the top 2.

That's largely been true of everyone though. They just beat milan who had to play calabria in midfield
