Italian Serie A - 2020-2021

That wasn't a penalty against Bergamo, was it? The ball got deflected into a completely different trajectory like half a meter before the defender and his arms were close to his body.

When i was younger in Seria A was rule in last rounds; who needs points, gets them. I can't believe what i am watching now.

They waited until about the 88th minute to even chuck a few bodies forward and go for it at all.

Lads, you're Tottenham.

Yeah, it's changed ever since the PL started getting popular over here

Stupid english people and their stupid approach to football :D

Don't like conspiracy theories but that performance from Napoli looked fishy. They hardly looked a side who wanted to win.

Petagna looks like Diego Costa's chubby kid brother.

Woeful striker, Napoli just have little depth beyond first 11 really. Politano at least is decent ball carrier and nearly scored a great solo effort at the end.

Just didn't offer enough in last 20 minutes. Juve massively got out of jail in this run in but will surely sack Pirlo early next week.

Was just watching the Napoli game. Gutted for them.

They had a few chances towards the end too.

Napoli probably deserved to lose that game, terrible performance. I think Milan certainly deserved CL over the balance of the season. They ran into a tough stretch after Christmas with injuries, COVID etc, but they have a solid base to build on.

Absolutely disgusting bottling from Napoli today. They're in great form and played a team in awful form and yet the nerves got to them. Even more woeful than Leicester.

Not really watched Napoli a lot this season, Is Fabian Ruiz still quality and would he now be a viable target for our midfield?

In the serie A of my youth milan and napoli win by a combined 7 goals and at FT all four teams break out "feck Juventus" shirts to celebrate

And i want that back

It's insane how this played out so similarly to the Premier League.

Ac Milan = United. Was 1st for a while, in the midst of a revival.

Inter= City. Wasn't 1st but went supernova in the second half of the season.

Napoli= Leicester. Were comfortably in the top 4, somehow finished 5th.

Juventus= Liverpool. Struggled the whole season. Somehow qualified for the CL in the last minutes of the season.

Didn't they used to do play offs for teams finishing level on points in key positions? Pretty sure euro spots and relegation was decided like that in 90s.

Just looked back and final day of last season Verona lost 3-0 at Genoa who had to win to stay up so they haven't always been like this with nothing to play for.

Juve offered them huge money i guess. (Which is 100% legal, to be clear)

Yeah, was changed in the early 00s

Happy for Milan, nice to see them back in the UCL.
