Italian Serie A - 2021-2022

Meeeeeeelan's attacking transition

Helps when it's lead by an F15 in human form mind

Brahim Diaz has been quality, saelmakers is really useful despite sometimes looking out of depth sometimes

The title race is really open.

Could see any of Inter, Juve, Milan, or Atalanta winning it. Potentially even teams like Roma/Lazio if they find consistent form under their new coaches.

Roma just scored a quite superb goal. Abraham and Mkhitaryan combined beautifully to set up Veretout.

He's arrived. Tammy with a fecking beauty. He just fits this team like a glove.

I mean he's serving up some gorgeous football too.
Salernitana is a very poor side though, but at least they are showing some set-up plays.

Tbh, Roma midfield with Veretrout, Pellegrini and Zaniolo who is suspended have probably more creativity than he had in both Spurs and Manchester United which can help a lot.

They showed similar combination football against Fiorentina last week, but yes the opponent is poor tonight. You're right about the midfield. It is very, very good, and in Abraham they have found a quick, mobile striker who is happy to run the channels and also come deep to engage in the tippy tappy stuff. My money is on them to finish in the top 4 this season.

For the first time since 2014 Mourinho looks happy

Serie A should be good this season

Serie A should be good this season

I just went to check which games are coming up and in the next 7 matchdays there will be Milan-Lazio, Napoli-Juve, Juve-Milan, Lazio-Roma, Inter-Atalanta, Atalanta-Milan, Juve-Roma, Lazio-Inter, Roma-Napoli and Inter-Juve

I’ve always believed Mourinho spent far too much of his career in England. Serie A is the league for him.

Arthur - Juventus
Amrabat - Fiorentina (though he may leave for Turkey or Torino/Atalanta)
Leo Sena - Spezia
Matheus Henrique - Sassuolo

This league has my favourite midfielders. Also, just saw yesterday that Calhanoglu joined Inter! I had to take a peek at a AC Milan forum after that and it didn't disappoint.
My boys haven't had a single minute yet. I forgot to add Lobotka, too, who's running the show for Napoli now. He's a good player so I hope he gets back to form. The fact that he only got 45 minutes at the Euros was criminal.

Also, can we sticky this thread?

Can we sticky this thread along with the Bundesliga and Ligue 1?

Juventus missed some key players, that said, they should still have played better than this.

Juventus fans assured me Ronaldo was their problem yet they have lost the last 2 games without him to Napoli and Empoli

Who’s the favourite to win the league this season? Still Inter?
