I said it before but this is Zaha all over again. Before you know, he’s 28 years old begging for a move to Everton after Villa out price him from every realistic deal.
What we knew.
Interesting decision. Probably felt he was on the move, got priced out and then decided to bump up his wages if he's gonna stay? Hope he put a release clause in for himself if he has any aspirations of leaving, because otherwise this deal rules him out of any move as long as Villa are in the prem.
From an England perspective, if Villa continue to struggle and he's stuck there, I hope it doesn't cost him a place in the squad.
