My theory is everyone who hates him has kids because i used to wonder this, now I've come to realise he voices everything and it's annoying when your kid makes you watch it every other day.

I can't say I've seen much with Corden recently but he was great in Gavin and Stacey. I thought his comedy sketches were funny too back in the day with England and Beckham etc. Can't say I know enough about his personal life to know if he's actually a cnut though.

Not a fan of him in the show, but not really a fan of the show either.
You'll write a script that feeds into a bigger campaign... He'll insist you use his revised script because it's funnier. Then he'll refused to read your script because he wants to only do his version.
He'll not sign off on a poster for league of their own because he looks fat compared to Redknapp, Flintoff and the other guy. He insists you have to make him look thinner.
He'll chime in a day before the promotional ad for his show goes to air because he decided he doesn't like the music used (despite being ok with it 3 weeks ago), now you're working all night to edit it from scratch.

He's a weird one. I agree Gavin and Stacey was very good and he was one of the writers. Smithy was a good character with some great lines. Probably an easy, hammy kind of character to play but his acting was decent enough.
I was also watching some old League of their Own episodes the other day and he's alright in that. Bit annoying at times but generally does an alright job for the format.
But in everything else I've seen him he's just a massive bellend. I can't figure out at all how he's landed himself a huge gig in American TV. There are some presenters who are bellends but they can at least conduct a good interview, or do a bit that isn't complete cringe occasionally. But Corden is a painfully cringeworthy interviewer and presenter, comes across as a fake kiss ass who is desperate to promote himself and network with celebrities. I can't fathom how or why he's getting this kind of work.
My best guess is when he was a kid and in that stage play that I forget the name of, he was diddled by some producers or execs and he's used that as leverage to land himself bigger gigs ever since.*

I remember him when he played a schoolkid in the channel 4 show 'Teachers'. That was a underrated brilliant show.
Even in the Ant & Dec thing he came across as a bit of a diva to be fair.
