John Terry - I cried after semi final...

"That first ride up to the stadium in the team coach was incredible. I have never felt anything like it, the noise, the emotion, the passion. I was almost crying when we drove up to the stadium. I was choking back the tears when we turned into Wembley Way and I filled up again as the crowd sang Abide With me and the National Anthem. The crowds were amazing, the whole place was a sea of supporters, all of them urging us to do well. They wanted that cup and they made their feelings known."

Can anyone guess who said this?

sir alex before the 1990 final i think

He should do this more often so we can laugh at him.
Love the 33 points bit, mourinho is that arrogant, it isnt a fake persona he puts out into the media. Terry is one big pussy, tears in his eyes in the 88th minute and all that. Not that im against footballers showing emotion, ruud comes accross as a pretty emotional chap, but terrys certainly no keane.

Terry is a pussy for crying, yet you don't have anything against footballers showing emotion...oh and Terry is no Keane

Jose putting numbers on a blackboard?- FFs..thats the one thing you never do.It's one game, you never underestimate your opponents.Feckin special one he is.
Goal or no goal -the crybabies mustered one shot on goal after that.

Yup generally its fine if players show emotion n all that. But every team needs someone whose going to drive the rest and push them to their limits till the final whistle. Keane is that man for us, if ronnie is slacking and not quite giving it his all, roy will have a go at him. 1-0 down in the CL semis needing a goal to go through in the 88th minuite, i doubt hed be full of tears, which was the case with terry. I thought terry was chelsea's keane, thats all. And hes clearly not.

Didn't see Roy have a right go at Ronaldo, Rooney or any of the other players when we beat United 3-1 at OT. :smirk:

As a matter of fact he was all too quiet that match, wonder why he didn't "give his all", eh? ;)

crybabies?
Gerrard would've fitted right in with us then, bawling his eyes out after losing the Carling Cup final. :D

Fortunately for him, he realized he wasn't good enough to get into the first 11 so he stayed in his comfort zone, where he stands out amongst the other mediocre dross.

Ahem, that's European Champion dross to you.

Your team couldn't though.

Sure doesnt look like it.
You dont expect ronaldo to be hard, hes 19, a kid and just not made of that stuff. Roys the man for us who in the 88th minute would still be driving us on to give everything for the club. Terry on the other hand would just cry.
:D
