From the experienced ones I think Young, Fellaini, Mata and Rojo are all in danger. Also hope he keeps some of the promising young lads around for the Europa League and cups.
Depends who the other clubs signThat happens and we walk the league.
There's no way Mourinho would sell Schneiderlin, he'll turn him back in the midfield machine that he was at Southhampton. The telegraph article reckons the turnover of player might not be too high in Jose's first season, a CB, CM, & a CF, and not too many departures, that's fine by me beacause it'd be a shame to see Darmian, Depay, Scneiderlin, etc shipped out too soon, but I do hope we will add a RW player to the list of incomings.
Valencia definitely, though I think he'll sell Fellaini.
Not sure how Jose would find Fellaini useful.
He'd have been useful in the West Ham game. What you've got to do is stop thinking of a first 11 and therefore one set of tactics. Jose is a pragmatist, if he feels a match can be won by taking advantage of Fellainis hight, either in attack or defence, then he'll do it.

Schneiderlin's skill set is exactly what Mourinho wants in his midfielders.
Fellaini can't head the ball to save his life, that's alright in defense but in attack he is useless in that domain.
Absolute rubbish, you may not like him as a player but theres no need for stupidity

Not at all. Fellaini misses more easy headers in the opposition box than any other player I've seen. He must have missed the best part of 10 simple headers this season.
As my Grandad says "he must close his eyes, he always gets into the right position but never gets it right".
errm , actually isAbsolute rubbish, you may not like him as a player but theres no need for stupidity
Scoring goals ain't easy. That he's actually getting to the ball shows he is dominant in the air. Something that could prove useful occasionally
Getting to the ball is totally pointless if you can't finish. That's why Welbeck is a £16m player rather than a £60m player.
Also, scoring goals when you have a completely free header a few yards from goal is easy. Unless you are awful at heading the ball with any kind of direction; in which case it isn't.
I don't think he will sell as many as you think, certainly this summer anyway.
I would think Rojo will be first gone followed by Fellaini. After that, I'm not entirely certain.
As for incomings, I don't see it being more than 3. Pretty obvious the positions they will be but no clue on who.
Everyone is expecting a huge turnover. I just don't see that happening.
He'll score a few and prevent even more. Remember, I am not saying he'll start a majority of games, but there will be times where he will be useful, something I think Mourinho would recognise and make use of
Why not? LvG was commended by a lot on here for doing it.
In: Ibrahimovic, Stones, Pogba, Griezmann
Out: Mata, Fellaini, Rojo, Valdes

Why are so many convinced Mourinho wants Stones?

Wanted him for Chelsea + United need a CB. I'd be surprised if he didnt want Stones. Especially as he's played with Smalling before. I think he will end up at City thoughWhy are so many convinced Mourinho wants Stones?

Maybe then, if that is true.Supposed to be a United fan though, I think we have that in our favour.

For some reason he strikes me as a tiki take Guardiola fanboi. I have no evidence for this at all obviously. He is definitely a Guardiola style CB though
Yeah you are just being stupid for the sake of it now.
I know we all want players like Pogba, Griezmann...
But what's the most Mourinho has splashed in a player?
Fellaini is a lot better with his feet than he is with his head. He is good at shooting the ball and not very good at heading it. In the PL Fellaini scored 12 headers since 2008, Chicharito scored 10 since 2010, Smalling 5 since 2008, Carroll 19 since 2008 and Tim Cahill scored 21 during the period that he played with Fellaini.
Fellaini is big and people equate it with special aerial abilities but he isn't good enough to be specially used in the air, Fellaini is an excellent anchor because he is good with his feet and powerful, not because of his ability to head the ball.
