Chamberlain was signed in the last week of August and didn't have any pre season with Liverpool. Robinson was signed from Hull City and was younger than Fabinho and Keita when he signed. He's more like Dalot signing rather than anything else.
Keita and Fabinho were both established players with very good teams and has already played in UCL and who've has full pre season with Liverpool. The fact that they're benched by Henderson who didn't have a full pre season and is in fact quite average isn't the most promising sign.
You can harp about the settling in period all you want but can you seriously tell me that you thought that with everyone fit you'd be starting Wijnaldum, Milner and Henderson in a crucial UCL match in November end?
You didn't pull off anything against City 2 months ago in a highly important game. The fixture against Napoli comes after 3 league games, two of them will require a lot of physical effort (Everton and Bournemouth). Burnely are in shocking form but you might be a bit tired after the taxing games vs PSG and Everton. Napoli are likely to be the fresher team imo.

No, I didn't think that. That doesn't mean it's surely a problem like you suggested though. If you told me at the end of August that we'd be 2 points off City at the end of November without a loss in the league, only needing to beat Napoli at home to go through to the Round of 16 in the CL, I'd have taken it and I wouldn't care which players do or don't play in midfield. I'm still pretty sure that Keita will come good and be a regular starter for us in the second half of the season. He would've already been if not for his injury imo.
That's excellent and well done, but that's not relevant to the current argument about Fabinho and Keita having a great impact.

The fact that Henderson is in his 8th season for Liverpool and is a mainstay in the side is rather hilarious.
Ah right, Milner committing multiple yellow card offences must have been my imagination. There is only one team that benefited from diving and it was Liverpool. Mane decided to dive when he could have just run into Di Maria and fallen from the contact.
Klopp could have easily said that Veratti had no business being on the pitch. The ref clearly let him off when he could have gotten a red card and multiple yellows. Instead he chose tp focus on something irellevant.

There's nothing particularly special about your record at Anfield. You've certainly never had a home record like great teams tend to at home in the recent past.

Oh absolutely. Thing is, most of us sane ones can acknowledge we are shite. The scouse brigade on here think they're the dogs bollox.
I don't think you can blame us for still being optimistic about our chances. We have not lost a home game in the league or CL this season or last season. Our goals scored in home CL games goes as follows, going back to the start of last season: 4, 3, 5, 3, 0 (after a 0-5 first leg), 7, 3, 2, 4.
To beat Napoli 2:1, 3:2 is highly probable. 1:0 or 2:0 is a different task though. Even if you score early on, Napoli know that they need to score once to make your task really difficult. You can score 2 and concede in the last minute. The game will be nervous as feck for you lot.
Keep dreaming. The force of Anfield won't even let Napoli enter the opposition half.
Every manager is going to back himself and his team. I think it's fair to say that PSG are one of the biggest offenders when it comes to diving and play acting in football at the moment.
The stuff our manager comes out with in interviews is far worse and petty (in my opinion), but that's another discussion altogether I guess.
Klopp always throws some kind of tantrum when they lose. I've never been a fan of his happy-go-lucky persona and all the prancing around on the touchline, he and Conte were/are two of a kind in that respect.
Their away record in Europe is definitely something to work on but I expect they'll still make it through anyway. Napoli shithousing a 0-0 at Anfield and sending them to Europa would be the tonic my soul needs though.

We currently have the longest unbeaten league run at home of any team in the top 5 leagues in Europe, the second longest in our history, going back to April 2017.
We're undefeated in Europe at Anfield under Klopp.
Id say you got this one plain wrong. The Anfield factor is frankly more of a defining trait of klopp's Liverpool. And on a European night where it's crunch time? I'd back us to see it through.
The best part is that they are not likely to be particularly fresh for the derby with us. We have a dead rubber game in Valencia, they have a final vs Napoli and Napoli are no mugs when it comes to running.
I don‘t think it is unreasonable to suggest that Anfield is a fortress under Klopp. I don‘t remember them losing any big game there, I rather remember them scoring for fun against some (really) good sides (in Europe against Man City, Dortmund, Roma, Sevilla, PSG, United, plus many goals in EPL as well).
Liverpool‘s away form in CL should be worrying for them (not just this season, the Roma game last season was also really bad) but at home you can‘t doubt them. Their finals record adds to that trend, which is not an „away game“ because you don‘t meet a home side, but it also on the road.

And one that's had, repeatedly, on this forum. There isnt any defending to be done on Klopps behalf here. I mean, he's deployed Milner to basically chop Neymar down at any given opportunity, and he complains about gamesmanship?
They're 2nd in the league. Massively underwhelming? Ehhh ... not quite as explosive as years past but remarkably consistent.
Struggled in the CL but losing away to PSG & Napoli isn't embarrassing so it's only really the loss to Red Star that stands out as properly crap. They can still get through.
tbh I don't think any English side other than City, who themselves lost and drew to Lyon, would do any better in those two away games.
I think the fairest criticism of Liverpool this season is the play style. For me they just haven't entertained in most games I've watched, and if they still win nothing and are dull to watch after spending good money then criticism is fair.

They think they're some force and any loss is a major mistake. They were outclassed and hung on. Simple as that. We've done it a few times this season too, but can admit it.
He's dropped a few points at Anfield against small clubs so I won't go in to them. Without having stats though I'm sure they've dropped points at home to big clubs plenty of times. His record against United at Anfield for example is Played 4 Won 1 Drawn 2 Lost 1 which isn't exactly sign of a fortress.
I think it's a bit strange Liverpool fans getting annoyed that they're on a United forum and United fans are taking the piss. One of your biggest rivals loses and the manager has a melt down of sorts, people will take the piss that's part of football.
They're doing what we did in the second half of last season. Grinding wins out. Their football was terrifying for one season (where they still did nothing), but it's not special now.

There's not praising and there's drawing the wrong conclusions. This place goes way OTT (to be expected) when we drop points, just goes to show you how things have changed. I expect yesterday's loss to be nothing but a distant bump in the road once we've qualified in two weeks.

It’s somewhat concerning how resilient they are tbh. We know they’re capable of some scintillating stuff. If they’re still second after not playing so well, where will they end up once they hit form?
