I agree. Do you know if a team can be investigated by 2 governing bodies for the same breach? I think they should be.

The only competition is Pep, but Klopp's made made Liverpool as good as City with less spending and taking over from a far weaker position than Pep did.

So Klopp did it, finally. I praised him enough before, but this title should be enough to shut up the guys who need to see a title before they recognize a great coach.
In BVB the sponsors were running away in droves, because we were close to lose the license and he personally called some of them and asked them to stay with the club. Klopp loves soccer, he loves his players and he loves the club that he belongs to. This makes him so good as a coach.
It makes sense though that Pep wins league titles and Klopp is great in a championship situation. Klopp gives his players belief and faith. Pep is amazing at crunching numbers. Over the duration of one season, the number cruncher will always win, but in that one game where the team needs to give everything, Klopp is the coach you want to have.
I doubt that Klopp will win the league title next year, Pep is too good at his job. But if Klopp reaches the final next year, he will win the CL again.
Anyway, congratulations to Klopp for this title. I know nothing about the relationship between Manchester United and Liverpool and I certainly do not feel it, but from my German point of view, it is amazing that an English club has won the title. I just love your attitude towards soccer. Hopefully your club can catch up next year and play a major role in Europe and the league as well. I would prefer a traditional club like Manchester United over a plastic/sheikh club like Manchester City every day of the week.

Klopp is slightly ahead for me because he can make a group of decent players into an amazing team, while Pep needs great players to do the same.

Pep gets a bad rep because his forward line was so good when he arrived. It allowed him to go apeshit on defence cause that's all he had to improve on.
Wait and see what Klopp spends on VVD partner and a midfielder this summer. Its not because he's a chequebook manager but because he doesn't really need to spend in other areas.

He has, but generally done it better than Pep. Most of his big signings have worked out really well. Maybe not Keita yet so we will see.
Pep has been very good at improving what he got in terms of making them better. Although in the market he has been a big hit and miss. Sane, mahrez, Jesus have not been big hits for them. It is Aguero and Sterling who play as the main men in attack. David Silva and KDB has been key to the midfield with Fernandinho who was there before Pep. Bernardo Silva, Laporte and Ederson has been bloody good for them though. The way Ederson suits the style so well is probably the biggest sucess in the market for him. Walker is stable too, but not a massive hit. Stones have been average and Mendy is always injured so hard to fully judge him. Gundogan has worked fairly well, but not really a key player even if he has played well near the end.
He's a brilliant manager.

True but when you compare it to Guardiola his spending it isnt that bad. Klopp signs Robertson and promotes Arnold while Guardiola buys a back up for 30mil.
Klopp buys Salah for 50 million who becomes the superstar of his team while Guardiola buys Mahrez for more than 50 million just to sit on the bench.
Why? Because he scraped a CL win and came second to the better team? As good as they were in the league coming second means absolutely nothing.
Pep had made them into arguably the best PL team of all time.
Liverpool's transfer net spend since 2015 is £142m. Less than 40M a season.
I'm happy that he won the UCL after his two losses before but hate that it's had to be at Liverpool of all clubs. He's been my favourite manager since Fergie retired, or maybe second favourite after Jupp

I don't disagree with the point you're making, but Coutinho going for £150m or whatever it was was a true anomaly which deflates the net spend sum.
In no way, shape or form is or was Coutinho a £150m player in terms of contribution when they managed to fleece Barca for him.
An absolute nutter but an amazing manager. Just think where Liverpool were when he inherited the team in 2015 and look at them now, remarkable turnaround

That's actually an incredible achievement. I must say though, I don't know how Liverpool manage to sell their players for such high fees i.e. Ibe, Benteke, Coutinho, Solanke, Sakho etc.
3 European finals in 4 years is better than what Pep has done. This Liverpool team is better than his Dortmund team was. No doubt about it.
I'm genuinely happy for Klopp. I've been a fan since his Dortmund days and he deserves a Champions League winning medal.
But without that 150m they wouldn't have bought all of Alisson, Van Dijk, Fabinho & Keita.
He's lost two of them. People getting carried away. He's a very good manager, he's just not won enough yet to be ranked above Pep. If he wins the PL this year then fair enough there is a strong argument to be made for it but the guy has just won his first cup tournament.
I still think, in a one off match, that Dortmund team would've beaten this Liverpool team. Not over the course of a season because the Dortmund team was much thinner but the starting XI with Hummels, Subotic, Bender, Gundogan, Gotze, Reus and Lewandowski would beat this Liverpool team.
Well put him in charge of City, Bayern or Barca do you think the results would be any different? The style might be but I think he’d be dominant with those teams.
Then he deserved the credit to make Coutinho worth £150m in the transfer market when he played for Liverpool. I don't see anyone want to buy Ozil, Bale or Sanchez for £150m now.
