He has, but generally done it better than Pep. Most of his big signings have worked out really well. Maybe not Keita yet so we will see.
Pep has been very good at improving what he got in terms of making them better. Although in the market he has been a big hit and miss. Sane, mahrez, Jesus have not been big hits for them. It is Aguero and Sterling who play as the main men in attack. David Silva and KDB has been key to the midfield with Fernandinho who was there before Pep. Bernardo Silva, Laporte and Ederson has been bloody good for them though. The way Ederson suits the style so well is probably the biggest sucess in the market for him. Walker is stable too, but not a massive hit. Stones have been average and Mendy is always injured so hard to fully judge him. Gundogan has worked fairly well, but not really a key player even if he has played well near the end.
