He's right. Klopp says a lot of daft stuff, so why not just stick to picking at the daft stuff.

You're looking at the result instead of the process - it's still weird as feck especially given how Southgate has treated others in the same predicament in the past.
Fair play to him actually addressing the Saudi human rights issues. Most managers (including our own which disappointed me) just dodged it but respect to Klopp to actually answer the question and call out the PL. These guys are all minted, they are some of the few people who are able to speak their minds with no real fear, way more should have the courage to say something.
I dislike Klopp for many reasons, but respect is another thing, and I think most if anyone have a a lot of respect for his willingness to speak out on issues such as the Newcastle takeover and money in football generally. Goofy and annoying prick, but honest.
Despite him being the manager of our biggest rivals, I don't have too much of an issue with Klopp and think almost any team that had him would be better off for having him at the helm. He brings a raw passion for the game that has gone missing over the years (Thinking of all the generic PR friendly answers that managers and players give) and he is adored by his players. Liverpool wouldn't be the force they are right now without him. You can scrutinize almost every interview he has done and put a negative light on it, but his results and performance speak for themselves. Clearly, whatever he does, works.
In fairness, stones has never really let Southgate down and he’s a big one for trust of players. Also and this is only a personal opinion, i think stones has more to his game, specifically the attacking side and the potential to nick a goal
Credit to him for speaking about issues that other managers wouldn’t want to go anywhere near (vaccines, Wahhab FC). Good man. Unhinged and crazy at times, but his heart is in the right place.
Who in the public is really talking about issues like him? Everyone is scared to become torn to pieces in social media. Not Klopp, he is so authentic. If he would be up to become world ruler, I would follow him gladly.
Salah's weekly individual brilliance was only going to take him so far.

Correct, but I haven't been impressed with any consistent performances for a long time.
In terms of underlying stats they're doing fine. Top of the league for xG going into today, third for xGA and second only to City (who played one more game than them) for xGD.
We’ve been the best side in the league going forward this season. Back to back 5-0 wins away from home recently.
Seems like it's all going a bit down hill from him an Liverpool since they beat us 5-0.

It seems that Liverpool are back to their 2018 version - a lethal attack but very leaky defence..they finished 4th back then and played a CL final..lets see how this season is going to unfold for them..

They're still a top team, but the biggest issue is that the core in midfield and attack are getting old, and Liverpool's owners don't spend. They've fallen behind both City and Chelsea because of that, if they bought a couple of young, quality players for their squad, they'd be right up there. Squad depth killed them last season (especially in attack), and it's continuing into this.

Well we played one below average one. Agree about the other side though. I’ll let you figure out which one is which.
Yeah this is an accurate assessment. We’re in trouble when Mane and Salah go to AFCON but the midfield doesn’t protect the back four very well. We’re also struggling to find an in form partner for Van Dijk as well.
No but there are few better indicators of where the trophy will likely end up that you could point to. The team with the best xGD (as per statsbomb) has won the league in three of the last four years, with the exception being Liverpool who had the second best xGD that year. If they are or are near the best for those indicators all season then they likely won't have much to worry about come the season's end.

I said that 5-0 win at OT was the worse thing that could happened to them. They must have thought they were invincible after that, but it sounds strange to say, Utd created a lot of problems for them. I thought Liverpool were there for the taking that day.
