really?...how do you know that?, do ya live there?

Not currently, though I am pretty close geographically.

Liverpool are disliked (hated) because of Heysel.

thankyou

i registered to see what the Man Utd fans think of juventus and the game on tuesday.

I had a go at him before as I knew he was English quite quickly. His English was too good.

My honest view on the game is that it will be difficult. I predict a draw, but if you have your full team out then you could win it. It's a very difficult place to go to.

I just hope it's a good entertaining match.

Juventus are a decent team. They forced us to play long ball which we dont like doing or are no good at, put it that way.

Id be quite happy for Lippi to take over from ferguson, i think im alone here, but i personally think hes a tactical genius. Or near it...

So your turn, if you could have one of our players, whod it be?

ah...that would have to be Veron. hes proven he can play well in serie a and is suited to the italian game.

plus we lack a playmaker, although nedved/del piero are the cloest players we have to one.

i think it will be a close game as well...but we are boosted with 2 very good performances in a row.

lippi a tactical genius...? maybe, but we have 3 of our best players on loan!

I must admit that I know very little about Italian football as I do not personally follow it. I get all of my information from Suedesi here and an Italian friend in Rome.

They both seem to think that AC Milan are the strongest of the Italian teams. Do you share that view?

yeah hes doing well...but juve fans are quite fickle - blaming him after one bad performance.

but it goes for every new juve player, they take a while to settle in [salas is still doing it], but hes scored a few, and was important in helpin us get through in the champions league.

hes fast and i think is well suited to our play...

on paper definately. but out midfield completely outplayed them earlier in the season when we won 2-1.

milan play their best in europe though. but in serie a last match they caused the torino fans to get bit violent after going 3-0 up...!

maresca, brighi and miccoli [earned his first cap recently, and helped Perguia beat inter, and knocked us out of the italian cup as well as beating milan]

marescas a fan favourite...similar to davids and is definately going to be big soon.

they all could easily get some first team football here...

Well I don't want to watch a boring one.

Last week's game was entertaining for me. Hitting of posts, goals, nervous moments, penalty appeals.

Good stuff. :D

what do you all think of trezeguet?

I like him, but he can be very quite at times can't he? Almost disappears?

i guess so...but just like van nistelroy, after one pass he scores.

him and del piero are the partnership...against chievo was the last time they played together and trezeguet got a hat trick.

40 goals between them last season.

Strange that his partnership with Henry doesn't seem to be working for France. Almost as baffling as Nistelrooy and Kliuvert for Holland, just doesn't seem to work.

also strange that we had henry and trezeguet together...but thats the way it goes

strange that milan had davids and vieira together once...what most people think would be the best midfield partnership in the world

Someone must have thought that Trezeguet was the better prospect at the time then? And that they couldn't play together?

well we played henry as a left winger, which was what he was known for...and flopped.

only when he came to arsenal did he really start to play as a striker.

trezeguet is one of the best finishers in the world, and we definately shouldnt sell him.

Square, how are manchester united viewed in italy.

The cretin a few pages said that "everyones hates" us. Can you clarify this?

also, thanks to the constant ramblings of wastie, the match thread is now 4 pages long and the match is still 2 days away!

Man Utd are not hated that much, by some juve fans yes. liverpool are probably hated the most.

Man Utd arent hated because they havent played that many italian teams in recent history...only juventus really?

anyway the juve fans are to occupied with the other italian teams: torino, florentina [florentia], roma, milan & inter!
