It's not, that's a hard fact. Consistent top teams are made of top players, you are not going to find a single team that defies that. Now if your point is that you can win the odd competition with a system, that's true.

I guess it depends on how you define top players as well. For instance, I didn't think that all of Mourinho's inter team were absolutely top players, I wouldn't have said that Milito, Pandev etc were among the best players in the world, whereas Sneijder and Eto'o were.
