And yet they were royally rogered by Bayern not too long ago. The opposition in La Liga are just bodies because they try to play in a similar fashion but are much less competent. These teams need to develop some sort of contrasting styles if they will ever cause problems for the top 2.

It's to be hoped that Betis make more of a game of it. In principle they're not a bad team.
Goal difference doesn't get much use in La Liga, but this puts Barca on track to go over 300 goals.
The difference a manager makes with Barca is in Europe. They barely need one for the league as there isn't any need for changes. So long as players are fit then the only job the manager needs to do is to pick the starting 11. Tactics are all set.

Yeah the teams in la Liga roll over pretty much before a ball is kicked when they play Barca. Instead of trying to make things compact you seem them all the time playing pretty much the same way as always.
There's no need to be so sensitive - everyone knows La Liga is a cakewalk for the big two.

I watch it a decent amount actually, are you trying to say that the other teams put up a big fight or play smartly against Barca? Sure there's always some teams, especially at home that make a game of it but most of the time they either give up right away or they just have awful tactics and don't stand a chance.
Anyone who is critical of the teams in La Liga needs to remember than Athletic Bilbao beat United, Athletico destroyed Chelsea. Valencia beat Stoke. The Spanish league isn't weak. It's just that over a season Barcelona are bound to play very well some games and when they do there is nothing you can do to stop them.
That's bullshit. What are you suppose to do when you're two goals down against Barcelona? Stick to your same defensive shape? Try and peg one back? Either way you're most likely going to end up losing more. If Barca score this early you've got your work cut out for ya. But that doesn't happen every game. Far from it.
Why pretend your comment was objective and not a typical wum? Team gets pasted by Barcelona, the other team gave up, were too afraid or got it all wrong...but rarely is it Barcelona were imperious

I'm not saying this game in particular really, there's games like this in every league but the amount of times over a season Barca gets 4 or 5-0 wins is just ridiculous.
To be fair the United and Chelsea games were in competitions that didn't mean much to either, as Ajax were giving United trouble. The Spanish league isn't weak though, you're right, but i don't think that there is ever a middle ground. You'll get people underrating the other clubs or they will be way overrated.
Everton/Swansea/Liverpool would all give the Spanish equivalents good games imo and it would even out if they played 10 games vs each other.

Teams clearly just conserve their energy for games they can win.

Not trying to make it seem like that, sorry. Obviously Barca is a great team and all, we all know that. It's very hard most of the time to get anywhere near them but the opposition in la Liga is so naive when they play them that half the time Barca comfortably win without breaking a sweat really. Games like today just seem like Barca can score at will, and they've been doing it.
The Bundesliga must be shit then as well. Or Bayern and Barcelona must just be that good and ruthless.
