I've got to say Ancelotti's team selection was "interesting" - I understand him taking that gamble on Bale as #9, but he really didn't look fit enough to be out there.

Valdes has been poor for two seasons, but this season, he has been one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and arguably the best in the league.

On the excuse that a bit of "steel" is needed, Khedira is just a poor footballer. The type of player that Mourinho can get the best out of but not consistently.

Theres rumors going that Khedira might be on his way to Chelsea on the January transfer window, dont know if theres any into it but it wouldnt surprise me to see him ending up at Stamford Bridge with Mourinho who seems to rate him highly.

Khedira is better than anything we have atm bar Carrick though, I don't think he was that bad.

Exactly what I was thinking too. Barely gets a game for them and if memory serves correctly, was brilliant in his last season at the arse when he played a box to box role. We should sign up Sanchez while we're at it too. Then we could finally be rid of Ashley Young.
