It's quite incredible, isn't it? We've seen a genuine terrorist incident in the streets of Britain in the name of far-right fascism, and still the Mail attempt to find excuses for it because it might, uncomfortably for them, not line up with their agenda. Amazing how quickly people become apologists for fascism and other similar abhorrent causes when they're given an outlet to do so.

Think this might just make it up to being the worst thing the Daily Mail have come out with, at least in modern political times. Some of them have perhaps been more flatly offensive or damaging to a single individual (ie Red Ed off the top of my head), but the wider implications of this one, especially when you consider the continuing popularity of the paper, is genuinely awful.
