There's literally nothing to laugh at this time around. Our young English team and rookie manager is doing the country proud. It's refreshing to feel optimistic about an England team.

Thus far I've been relatively okay with England winning but I think that's just about come to an end.

Hope to hell Croatia win tonight.

Yep. Agreed. Found watching England painful in the past but loving this. This England team is really likeable. Already done us proud. Semis here we come! Anything is possible now.
 
Whatever happens now no one will be laughing at England anymore. They have surpassed any expectations placed on them and done their country proud.

Well done England.

Croatia ain't as good as people make them out to be. Soon they will run out of legs and become powerless. Might even lose to Russia, honestly. England has been extremely lucky with the draw and managed to beat a toothless Sweden without breaking too much sweat. Reckon they will advance to the final with another set piece but then easily lose to France or Belgium.

Agree, England are relatively poor and have been extremely lucky in terms of the way fixtures fell.

That said, previous England sides would have bottled even this run of fixtures. Plus, no matter how it's done, a Semi Final is a Semi Final.

Same. I think the rousing version of God Save The Queen from the stands tonight was my tipping point. Been rooting for them all tournament but that’s it now. Enough.

Why?
 
Colombia are a standard Rd. of 16 opposition and if they beat Croatia, and one of France/Belgium, it would be well deserved. Think they will lose the final. Either way, I don’t see the point of bringing luck into this. If they win, they will deserve it 100%. England have been solid if not sublime. And that’s good enough.

I’m missing the BBC/ ITV coverage in Australia, SBS is fine but it’s not the same. Want to see people getting excited about the fact we’ve made the semis!
 
I used to love International football as a kid but as the years passed by it seemed that people as a whole (me included) seemed to care less and less about it especially when at times we had a bunch of tossers representing the country. No more! For the most part this lot seem like a decent bunch with a "vanilla" manager who instead of coming with a massive reputation that the F.A. spunks millions of pounds on just keeps on getting the job done. I've decided that I love vanilla and I love this team and bloody hell there is a chance we might actually bloody win this.
 
Belgium vs England looks good, France will be destroyed by Belgium IMO.
