Let's all Laugh at England

And to all United fans, and to fans of all other English clubs, who aren't from England, and to all posters in this Irish forum who don't support England, you are not true United fans, or true fans of other English clubs, or just true fans of Irish forums, if you don't support England.

Are you having a meltdown?

How did you arrive at that conclusion? Do tell.

Although it has been rather hot in the NW of late.
You've posted like 5 times the English unofficial anthem after England lost, in a Let's laugh at England thread.

I’m not laughing, I think that’s quite clear.

If England failed to get out of the group stage for example, that would indeed be laughable - if your laughing at England for getting knocked out in the semi finals after extra time, that’s just deep rooted hatrid - so why don’t you be honest about it?

Which international team do you support?

I don't support any international team. My team won't be in the world cup for the next couple of decades at the very least. I am an Indian.
Feel free to laugh if it makes your day a bit better. Won't take it personally to throw random insults around.

I happen to like my national anthem. I 'dig' the meaning behind.

Plus I'm feeling rather patrotic and prideful this evening.

P.S

Goodluck getting me to have a meltdown. Go ahead and try.

I just can’t rate him. There was a-lot of fawning over him during this WC, but that was more to do with the opposition.

I thought he did about as well as you could expect from him.

He's just not very good. Tonight and against Colombia when it got really hard he wilted.

The team doesn't deserve to be laughed at (even with the very annoying Dele Alli, Pickford etc). They mostly represented themselves well.

To the very disrepectful fans and media:
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That’s just it though, he’s not very good. But some of the OTT praise for him this tournament has been boarderline insane.

And also, why does Pickford look like an annoying scrote with a shit scrotey early 00’s haircut?

I’m not laughing at your team, or your county - that’s the point isn’t it! If you lost to (insert any non test playing country) at cricket, that would be funny. If you lost to England it wouldn’t, it would be respectable. I’m not the one throwing around insults - you should respect what the England team has achieved.

Well people got carried away because of us getting to the semi.

I think he's very average and we were always going to struggle against a good side. Can't be angry at him though, he did his best.

Good tournament for England and this team has a bright future ahead.

Agreed, a lot of positives and a great few weeks of football, beer, awesome weather, and BBQs. The most fun I've had watching us, well, ever.

Which anthem are you referring to, this one?

God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen
God save the Queen
Send her victorious
Happy and glorious
Long to reign over us
God save the Queen
go on then

post it again and accept the position of Red Cafe Moron of the year 2018

go on...bring it home lol

It would be extremely funny if india lost to England. You are wank at cricket too.

Was fairly impartial at the start, was cheering on Lingard and all the United players when they played, but as the tournament progressed, the commentary/punditry really wore me down (ITV being slightly worse than BBC), so completely biased, to the point of delusion. By the time Mandzukic scored I let a roar of relief out.

The "football's coming home" stuff has been hilarious, been sending and receiving stuff from my English mates and it's been really good fun, noticed after the Sweden game that they started to get a bit arsey. Being really cocky and arrogant with my Belgian mates when they got knocked out.

The England team were well drilled, but fairly unspectacular. They played pretty much to their potential, no more no less.
