I think Fletcher and Rooney will both start after their impressive cameos today.

Other than that I have no idea how the team will be.

Who are they? Shock winners of the Copa Libertadores last year, LDU were the first side to win the title in Ecuadorian football history, knocking out the likes of Estudiantes de La Plata, San Lorenzo and Mexican big spenders America. Coach Edgardo Bauza has made the side tough to beat, but has had to contend with the loss of several key players, most notably Joffre Guerron.
Captain? Captain Patricio Urrutia is a dynamic midfielder who takes control of the game and scored seven goals in LDU's Copa run last year. He was also part of the Ecuador squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany and has established himself in the centre of midfield for their 2010 qualifying campaign.
Player to watch? Claudio Bieler. The 24-year-old striker has already been around the block, having played in Argentina, Chile and now Ecuador. Not the most powerful forward, Bieler's movement and pace causes defences havoc and he has a decent scoring record.
 
In the game against pachuca they had a solid back,allowed the opposition to have the ball and were quite impressive in the counter,that mansa was a good dribbler,they closed down pretty well in the final third,but the worst part is they dived all over the field and the ref bought those.

Reckon they're good enough to sneek a 1-0 win against us in the counter if we don't put away our chances.

Thanks but no thanks.. I already read that & was hoping for some one to give us a better look into the team the dangerous players etc...

Upon return to England, it was found that his injury had become chronic, which effectively destroyed his future in Europe. Gordon Strachan had also alienated the player, claiming to have signed the player based on his Championship Manager statistics and saying that it was the only time that the game had let him down. When pressed for his plans for the Ecuadorian, Strachan replied "I've got more important things to think about. I've got a yoghurt to finish by today, the expiry date is today. That can be my priority rather than Agustin Delgado."

the South Americans do take this cup more seriously than the Europeans and they've probably put more focus and preparation into this, however if we play anywhere near as well as we can, it should be a relatively comfortable victory. Conceding 3 goals against Osaka will hopefully be a good reminder that we can't be too complacent against the South Americans, as I doubt they'll be as naive as the Japanese in defence.

If we were playing a Brazillian or an Argentinian team then maybe I would agree with you. We're playing a team that is average apart from 200 metres above sea level! Oh they also lost 3 of their best players as well, 1 of which was considered indispensable.
