I'm pissed off not because of the defeat, but because I am sick to the back teeth of Fergie playing favourites.
If we'd played the same team that played Wednesday and lost, there would be no complaints.
And anyone who can think for himself would have to recognise that against Arsenal and Bolton, Ole played better than Ruud, and against Juventus, he was superb. He gets kicked in the teeth time and time again, and so do other players who deserve better.

no need for crying we created chances and didnt take them. Dudek really made only one great save the rest were hit right at him or just to his side and he perried them away. sure the papers and the press will say he had a blinder but we created chances and just didnt take them. I always felt that liverpool were likely to score on the break and after our relentless pressure and a mistake they did. We still have them at OT in the league and that game is much more important than this one IMO.. We will recover and come may we will be celebrating and parading the European Cup on our ground in front of the world stage. Losing to Liverpool hurts. But we have a good chance to take revenge at Old Trafford in April.
Not a good day to be a United supporter but the grand price is still to play for and when the CL qf comes this match will be forgotten.
There's one positive things to take from today's match however. Winning the Worthless Cup will mean there's no way Houllier won't be Liverpool manager 'next season'.
on a serious note i think our performance was everybit as good as our last two against JUVE. We took our chances in Turin and tonight we didnt. Dont tell me dudek was the difference either he was just positioned well and made the saves when called upon. Any competent goalkeeper would have done so. Rudd really should have had a hat trick and scholes was unlucky not to score twice. Cant argue with the effort and determination we just lost it happens now we have bigger fish to fry. IE ARSE, BASLE, DEPORTIVO and who ever meet in the QFs REAL, AC MILAN, BARCA,

Didnt bothe to watch as it was a unimportant game but Liverppol won didn't they?? That means that they are qualified for the Uefa Cup next season doesn't it??

oh and one more thing its bloody apparent the without Dietmar Hamman the scouse are basically a midtable side. He controls the midfield definately one of the best in the prem (VIERA, Keano, Hamman)

How come European teams haven't recently? how come we're through in the CL whilst Arse and Newcastle are not yet and l/pool ( the team that can 'break down' our 4-5-1) didn't even make it out the first group. Our big match was last Wed., not today. Who cares about this, not me thats for sure.
