Liverpool v Manchester United

boss I am right behind the team hope we can find a couple from somewhere, just do not understand having rooney and nani on the bench for a match like this, its not as if we are playing barcelona on tuesday.

The problem was not about keeping them on the bench. It was about not bringing them on earlier. Bringing them on when Liverpool were starting to take over at 0-0 would have been OK. But we waited ten minutes too long and kind of paid a deserved price when they scored right when we were about to send the two on.

apologies for calling fergie a twat, but i am so frustated the way we have played

You could have expressed yourself without calling the gaffer a twat but I know your post history. Not surprised.

We're playing at Anfield. You really expect us to go full out attack? We've been keeping Liverpool away from chances very well until Marriner decided it was time to give Liverpool one.

Fergie's plan was obviously to keep Liverpool away and then bring big guns right about now (Nani was ready to get on and Rooney was warming up) and it would've worked perfectly if it wasn't for that twat of a ref.

I don't see why not. Look at how we played at Stamford Bridge last season against a far better Chelsea team. We played beautiful football with no fear against a team with much more in their locker than Liverpool.

We had an obvious game plan which was executed to perfection, then right when we're supposed to turn it on and bring on our big guns they get gifted a free kick frmo a dive which they score from.. How can you blame Fergie for that? He had a plan that worked bar for a spastic decision from a spastic ref.

Looked a bit of a penalty on the second touch off his hand, no qualms though as it wasn't obvious in real time.

You don't think this is all influenced by the international break?

Makes it hard first game back at the best of times, without Rooney's problems.
