Shit, forgot to put in the Minute by Minute part, Mods some assistance would be appreciated for changing the thread title that appears. Thanks

Fair play.

But really your doing this?

Who in their right mind can sit and post on here during a game, let alone tomorrow?

See the matchday thread, I'll be drunk as shit too, so I will be posting from the 9th dimesion

Mods could one of you put in minute by minute for the thread title, please. Any one want to contribute in this thread let me know

United will line up with the following

VDS

O'shea
Vidic
Rio
Evra

Valencia
Scholes
Carrick
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

Very good side, SAF is going for the jugular

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Lucas, Mascherano, Benayoun, Kuyt, Aurelio, Torres.
Subs: Cavalieri, Voronin, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Degen, Skrtel.
Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney.
Subs: Foster, Neville, Owen, Anderson, Nani, Fabio Da Silva, Jonathan Evans.

Johnson and Torres pass fitness tests as Gaffe Benítez starts with his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, Aurelio being called into a left-wing role and the in-form Benayoun moved into the Stevie Me role. Mascherano and sidekick (Lucas) take the holding midfield roles. The rest of the squad picks itself. There's no Martin Kelly who started against Lyon - Degen takes his place after being ineligible for Europe.

Manchester United welcome back Rooney from injury, Owen dropping to the bench. Fergie, without Fletcher who would have started today had it not been for injury, start Scholes and Carrick with man-of-the-moment Giggs on the left and the combative Valencia on the right, with Nani on the bench. Liverpool fans' favourite players, Gary Neville and Michael Owen, both start on the bench.

Pre-match banter:

Waiter pre-match tunnel interview: "We are better than people think ... against a good team you never know what can happen ... Gerrard was close to playing, but it was too risky ... with the fans behind us we can do a good job."

Sir Alex Ferguson: "The history is unbelievable ... experience is important in these games ... once I knew that Wayne was going to be fit there was no hesitation in picking my forward pairing ... Michael Owen is great to have on the bench if we need him."

Haha beachballs all over the pitch, and we are off

Steven Gerrard hanging out with his wife in the stands

Rooney scores but is offside :(

Berbatov has had some poor first touches thus far

Hicks and Gillette look miserable together in the stands.

Good interception by Agger to break up a possible United chance

Lucas with a shot that reminds me of Anderson, they get a corner though

Beachballs all over the pitch again, hahaha

Poor header from Torres

7 minutes in United have not kept the ball very well, that said Liverpool look insipid

feck that Johnson pushed Evra into a advertising board after he beat him for pace and put in a cross

Torres with a chance, but was well blocked by the defence

Poor foul by Carragher on Rooney as United looked to break

Torres trips over himself, trying to get Evra carded

No card given free kick to Liverpool 40 yards out wide, cleared

Decent play there by Giggs to play Evra in after a Scholes rocket was blocked, Liverpool throw in

Foul on Evra on Torres, yellow for the latter, free kick from about 30 yards

Aurelio to take the freekick

Stunning save by VdS

Stunning save on the rebound with Kuyt's effort

Corner to Liverpool

Aurelio put it the same place he did at OT what a fecking save

Wide by Kuyt on a great chance by Liverpool

Lucas stole it from Scholes who played it very poorly in the centre of the park

20 minutes in Liverpool have been the better side

Excellent first touch by Berbatov, but his ball left Rooney wanting more

Excellent break by United,

Valencia chipped in a nice cross, which was met by Rooney only to be saved by Reina

Torres with a bit of a dive on a 'foul' by Vidic, poor ball by Carrick which went right to Torres. Carragher whinging to the ref

The game has a good flow to it so far, been going by quite quickly

Poor by Berbatov to not stay onside there, Valencia would have had a good chance

Poor cross by Giggs, was going for Valencia at the far post but overcooked it

Whoa!!! That was a foul on Giggs in the box going for a ball in the air right at the edge, should have been a penalty

Liverpool have been fouling like mad the past five minutes
