I hope Anderson gets a sniff in the second half Nani as well, I think both could be quite useful. On a side note, I think that United would be behind if Foster was in goal, VdS is pure fecking class.
 
Half-time and Giggs asks the referee why there was no foul given on Berbatov, only for Carragher to barge in with a mouthful of Scouse. Andre Marriner, presumably not understanding, asks Carragher (and Giggs) to move away.

On the balance of the play, Liverpool have been better without threatening aside from Aurelio's free-kick, while we really need Valencia to exploit Insúa more as the difference in pace is staggering.
 
Shocking miss by the ref on the Carragher penalty. That's a foul and a yellow anywhere on the pitch in any game. Ref is being way too kind to liverpool.

Valencia owns Insua, hope to see Antonio get more of the ball. Change Scholes for Anderson.
 
I'm happy we hard words with the ref, though. Hopefully it'll have put pressure on him.
