Liverpool vs. Manchester United

You know what though, Shelvey should have been booked earlier and another thing, what a mouthy fecking cnut he is. From South East London so no surprise really.

Well the result of today is what happens when you constantly lose the midfield battle in the center and play as static as we do at times.

I was hoping after some good stuff against Wigan and Gala, that the team actually was finding it's rhythm but today it seems we are back to our very worst.

Oh yeah and the fact that we just stand around waiting for our opponents to give us the ball isn't helping either.

Sending off possibly a bit harsh, but a reckless & pretty pointless tackle to be fair. The Giggs tackle was worth a yellow on its own.

Looking a the replay though it looks worse & worse.

feck it, its Scousepool, who cares.

I wish our lot would wake the feck up!

they're still pressing which means we won't have any advantage even though we're a man up.

Wait, what? It's not an advantage that they're only 10 players instead of 11 because they're pressing? I thought the 11th man would either participate in the pressing or stand further back as cover, I never knew they just put him on the sideline and have him watch as the other 10 run around.

Erm it was Gary Neville who suggested he was in the 1st place

No, Neville suggested that Evans was two-footed and out of control. That's plausible. Redknapp then claimed that both players were over the ball, when that's clearly false and changes the entire shape of the coming together.

Steve McMahon is such a bell end. Sending off was not even a yellow and Fergie got him sent off. Why bother having an ex Liverpool captain at Anfield as a "neutral" pundit.

In defence of Evans, he does actually go into get the ball with his sidefoot and gets it (but off his feet). Shelvey, I don't know what he's doing.

Result? it's half time mate, what are you talking about? We have 45 mins left to play.

It feels like I have seen the same match at Liverpool for the past 3 years.

No midfield, players not bothered,etc.

Baffling how Fergie can give a miss to our midfield problems, when evidently it has always been teams with great midfields that have turned out to be great.

Shocking!

We need to get Anderson or Scholes instead of Giggs and Nani needs to go off as well.

That's a fair point. Still, it would be nice to see Nani step up one of these days.

Tbh, I don't expect any of our players to step up at Anfield. We are just a pathetic side nowadays when we play there and today is no different. It seems like they forget how to play football.
