Liverpool

Everybody loves LFC now that they're almost back on top.. except mancs. The media want them to win it( neville included), even other mgrs want them back on top. Even Suarez is untouchable, and Gerrard will be knighted. It's the way it should be and it's very enjoyable

Does he feck. he's just doing his job and remaining impartial unlike every other bias cnut in the media. He has a bit of respect for the profession.

By all means, continue to gloat in this fashion. Maybe you'll disappear for good this time and not just when Liverpool aren't dominant.

The gloating on here by you guys is reaching levels of annoyance that are barely bearable. And I don't usually get that annoyed about anything football related, so I can only imagine what it must be like for die hard old timers Utd supporters.

Yeah the feckers are everywhere.

Not the same coz a United fan didn't like seeing it. Absolutely nothing wrong with the huddle. It was a moment. It was spontaneous. It wasn't disrespectful to anybody.

Just seems like a flimsy attempt to get at Liverpool / Gerrard.

The huddle was the worst thing I've seen. So staged and not needed at all. You save that for the dressing room but of course Stevie Me wanted the cameras to see his 'legendary' talk which boiled down 'errr fecking listen, listen, next game we go again...' Genius.

I haven't really seen anyone mention the attack from some Liverpool fans on the City bus? Did anyone else see it?

Been a couple of coaches bricked making their way away from Anfield this season. The incidents have happened a fair way from the ground & has had more to do with local yobs - of which there are many in the area - as opposed to match-going fans.

Staged? Right.

It's never bothered you before when you've wanted to gloat about United's achievements.

What's changed ?

I think its fairly obvious how Liverpool fans happily discussing their team doing well on a board about Manchester United can grate on the United supporters.

It's not us Liverpool fans who are winding you up mate, you're actually winding yourselves up. What would be classed as a little bit of cheeky banter in the past is now thought to be full-scale wumming on our part.

There's a few people on here that need to grow a pair. Not Erica of course, I'm sure she's fine just the way she is.

Lighten up FFS. It's only football.

I don't necessarily disagree with you but surely it's fairly easy to see why fans of you biggest rivals being on your forum in a decent number when they're in such a strong position would be abrasive to a lot of fans, I know there has been times where I've thought its a bit strange why Liverpool fans would want to discuss Liverpool on here, but each to their own.

Although it's not helping at the moment with so many of our fans seemingly wanting to talk about Liverpool all the time as well!

I've posted on a couple of the smaller LFC forums in times gone by, & TBH it's boring when you're discussing/debating things with other like-minded people. I wanted something a bit more challenging, & what's more challenging than jumping straight into the nest of your bitterest rivals. Especially when said rivals have taken over our very own perch.

You might not think so at the moment, but The Caf would be a poorer place without oppo supporters who can put forward a strong argument. Even if those 'oppo' supporters just happen to be Liverpool fans who are enjoying a rare spell in the limelight.

I've spent the last 20 years watching Manchester United under Fergie win all there is to win. Just in the same way I was lucky enough to live through (as a young man) our dominant period of the 70's & 80's. But you want to know something ? Sometimes it's more exciting to actually chase the dream than it is to live it.

Only sometimes mind ;)

I've been here 13 yrs so that doesn't really apply. And not just when we win. So , yes it does feel good to gloat a bit since you lot have been gloating since before cell phones

Even if they don't win it, just the thought of seeing them in the Champions League again makes me feel sick.

I knew people shouldn't have taken the piss out of Rodgers last season.

Since nobody answered my lazy question on a former page, the most league goals Vidic managed for us was 5 in 10/11.

John Terry had 6 in 11/12, Vermaelen had 7 in 09/10 but mostly from his left boot from open play as well as freekicks which is a bit different, Gallas had 5 in 05/06.

Unless I'm forgetting someone, could Skrtel get one more this season and end up with the most goals from CB in the premier league era?

Seeing them in the CL again isn't that bad for me, at the end of the day they're one of the bigger clubs and it'll be somewhat interesting to see how they handle it after being out of Europe for so long. Hopefully it ends up a disaster.

The sickening part is the fact that we have to exit it when they finally get back into it, which is just so typical. You couldn't make it up.

No you're right the significance of the game was magnified ten fold due to it happening so close to the Hillsborough anniversary.

:boring:

it made it more poignant like our euro win in 99 or 08 but had little bearing on the actual game and ferguson in 93 is nothing like gerrards farce

It's not that opposition fans are gloating. It's the fact that more and more Liverpool fans want to post on a United forum because their team is doing well. Even in non Liverpool threads some opposition posters will find a way to get Strurridge or Suarez' name into the discussion. I get it, you want to tell us how great you are, it's still a tad annoying. My view is probably skewed a bit as I was in the newbies until about a week ago and there's a new Liverpool fan posting there every day.

Could you imagine if Spurs were doing well () and a million Glaston's popped up? That shit is scary.

Farce?

Gerrard was almost in tears after the final whistle sounded against City, the biggest league win of a glittering career "by far", according to the 33-year-old. But the outpouring of emotion, he has admitted, was as a result of the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough, a day remembered with several tributes before the kick-off at Anfield and involving representatives of City and Celtic.

Well, sure you can gloat but I doubt you would find many on here going to opposition fan boards to gloat. Most do it here, on a United board. Unlike the majority of Liverpool fans who feel that they have every right to gloat on a United fan board.

Heh. Put the blame on someone else, as usual. :)

The smugness is back. It was always in the background, but like the architect said in one of The Matrix films, "there's are levels of existence we are willing to accept".

Always in the dark, skulking. Now, you're out.
