Liverpool

Barney boy  His retarded prediction looks even more hilarious now.

Form against the weaker teams has been Liverpools problem for years.

They'll up their game and beat a top team then draw to Sunderland or someone.

I think it's been a combination of underachieving against the weaker teams and not doing as well as they should against the stronger teams.

I can't see why either because for years they had the best Goalkeeper in the league, the best striker in the world, the best defensive midfielder in the world, the best centre back pairing in the league and Steven Gerrard. I really don't get it.

Wasn't a typo or a mistake. I don't think we'll win the league as we drop too many points against the top teams, but 54-57 points against the bottom ten is doable. We are the definition of flat track bullies.

"Not just beaten by, but at times outplayed by, a Steve Bruce team, containing the spawn of Steve Bruce.

Atrocious performance, genuinely worthy of the word."

RAWK is hilarious sometimes.

Maybe he recently moved to Liverpool and the effects of the water are setting in now?

barney's prediction could turn out to be one of the worst of all time on here.

Jesus the thought of the reaction on here, to that prediction, really cheered me up while watching the Liverpool match after our poor day at the office. feckin hell, 57-58 points :D. Still possible, mind.

Barney you jinx!

In all seriousness though, I like Kolo. Great character.

Great character alright but what on earth was he doing for the 3rd goal. I thought the hull lad was offside by a mile and then I see Kolo floating around the peno spot......

Looked like he was holding his hip, injured perhaps?
Yeah apparently injured. Does anyone know if a defender is injured and goes down say in the penalty area, is there a rule that says he is not interfering with play and a striker can't use him to stay onside? Like with a striker walking away from the play when in an offside position? I doubt it because it would be open to abuse.

It's not mathematically possible anymore, is it?

If hull and Swansea manage to get into the top half and united and another side finish bottom half then it's on....:smirk:

Quoting myself instead of editing was quite stupid but then not the most stupid post in this thread!

I think a ref can decide that the injured defender isn't 'in play' and therefore not consider him as one of the two players taken into account to decide whether there should be an offside. But I'm not 100% positive, and I can't be arsed to look up the laws of the game.

Barney revised his prediction to 54-57 points or in other words, it's on.
It will be 50-54 soon.

Seriously, it has to be one of the most stupidest predictions. It's nearly impossible for truly great sides let alone Liverpool.
