Rodgers has made one great signing (Sturridge) and and one decent signing (Coutinho). The rest have been crap. So yeah, he might get a chance to improve it in the transfer market, doesn't mean he will though. Also read he might go after Caulker. That isn't really improving the defence.

Sakho has been decent so far. His style of play makes him look worse than he actually is.

Alberto has played very few games and is likely to be sold. He's looked decent when he's played, but this will go down as a failure.
Aspas has been awful.
Borini might come back or he might be sold. Again, too early to say. If he's sold we'll probably recoup most of our fee.

Liverpool will be a top 4 team from now on under Rodgers but as long as dithering dave is kept far away from this club - the scousers will never take 6 points from us again in a season like they did this year without even breaking a sweat
So, minimal improvement on the GK, an average defender for £16 Million and Allen at £16 Million was a 'good signing'.

Gerrard - reinvented him
Henderson - turned him into a very good midfielder
Sterling - nurturing him superbly. Best teenager in the country this season
Flanagan - done wonders with him, most thought he was gone
Sturridge - bargain of all bargains
Coutinho - steal at £8m
Rodgers has done a fantastic job so far. He has built a team that play great football. He's ahead of schedule. I consider this the start rather than a peak.
