Why is he blaming Mcnair? Wasn't he supposed to be up for the corner?

EDIT: Ah just saw he was talking about the Ulloa chance, which was a result of Mcnair bombing forward tbf.

"a bad feeling because we could've won this game but I'm also proud that we could play like this"

4 wins in 11...........
I thought people were only complaining for aesthetic reasons only.

His negative tactics will affect results, its shown especially in the cups where we've been dour against even lower league teams, affecting us in the UCL and the effects are being felt in the league too( yes, we are second, but the gap to 7th for example isnt much, especially after dropping points again).

Doing well in the league which is great in my opinion. I think he's done a good job considering how utterly shit we were before. OK the football is gash but I think next season is the time where we can demand fluid football and wins.

This season I want a top three finish and qualify in Europe to the last 16 I'd be satisfied. If next session is awful OK call for his head but I think he's done Very good job so far.

You might be right, but you are basing that on the name of the teams, not on the performances.
So, southampton were in the exact same position and fell short. It happens every year, a small team gets a run of form and look like world beaters then they hit some poor form and finish in the top ten.

So what, they aren't going to win it. Its between us, arsenal and city.
Fair enough if you are 100% outcome oriented. For me there needs to be a bit of entertainment.

Not asking for much really. Things like attacking the box in injury time to try and get a late winner. Things we did in our sleep a few seasons back.

There is no chance this United team can win the title.

We don't score enough.

A good defense isn't enough.

So what, still in the race.

You said the table never lies and I proved to you, this is not how it may finish.

You seem to easily dismiss Leicester's chances of winning the league, who are above us at this point and at the same time think we are still in it.. Logic much???

Really needs an Eric Cantona like signing. We couldn't buy a goal before he was signed in the 92/93 season. Don't know who he can get in January though.

We signed him at around this time in the season too.
Exactly what I was thinking while watching that shite. We need some maverick in our attack and someone who can be a leader on the pitch in the attack. Someone exactly like what Cantona was to us.

Most likely not. Seeing as how Moyes has gone on since he left us , that's a very futile argument. Now back to the point at hand. He had one of the most disastrous reigns here, Van Gaal is a better manager , and has done better. That doesn't necessarily equate to that being satisfactory.
Moyes did pretty well with Everton, now he's damaged and he wasn't suited for Spain anyway. Look at the players, some of them got even worse but their decline is not something that happened overnight. The best of Van Persie was already gone, allthough he was still pretty good, Rooney can't even manage the simple things with a ball, Carrick is not even tidy and Mata keeps showing why he wasn't a starter for Chelsea. Look where all those players even Van Gaal wouldn't play are now. Let's be realistic, SAF left the squad in a mess, he gave himself a farewell present and Moyes had to pay the price.

But Wayne Rooney is allowed have the first touch of Andy Carroll

Tyler kind of asked G nev, if Rooney is done. I think its not long before the media get on him, since they have a new english hero readymade in vardy

I want to know what he keeps on writing in that massive notepad of his
And he scribbles something as soon as we miss a chance. Like that chance for Depay towards the end, he didn't react like the rest of the bench. His first reaction was to scribble something down while Giggs had his hands up almost to celebrate.

He's probably keeping count of the chances created for his post match press conference.

"Remind him to walk it into net in future."

To be fair, he also said that Leicester could have won with their's as well. He also said we need to create more.
He's been saying that for weeks but we still play the same pointless possession football.

82nd place in chances created per game out of Europe's top 5 leagues after today. Not sure where he's seeing all these chances.

And there is the problem!

Bit like having a centre back take a corner and then getting done on the counter then Louis?
Throw in Depay getting shit too and Rooney getting away with it, again, I can't take him seriously anymore.

He's full of shit

Madrid get rid of managers if they aren't delivering the sort of performance the club finds acceptable. Manchester United shouldn't be any different, Van Gaal has spent a fortune and his brand of football is bloody awful. The results are acceptable, but the clear lack of ambition on the field is now becoming predictable to play against. I'm fed up with it.

I can't for a second believe Giggs is happy working with such restrictive football.

I'm struggling to recall chances created today aside from set-piece situations where Leicester looked vulnerable and a half chance for Depay at the end.

Jesus I just checked where we are in the prem. 18th.

Only Newcastle and West Brom have created less chances than us.

I was amazed by that, didn't think they would cross that line but its so blatant it has to be stated

You're naive if you think it isn't. Hardly fan made at this point in football's history. The caf is not the basis of the "fans are unhappy" either.
Where do you think the money comes from? Are the fans at Old Trafford indicative enough?

If we do not qualify from our group in CL, LvG should be fired by the end of the season. If we do not make it into top 3 in the league, same faith. If either of Simeone/Ancelotti/Pep/ are available next summer, go for them. I doubt we will win the league with Louis in charge.
