$10mil and I fecked it up!
Great to see him do well today. Hopefully a start next time out and more of this final ball.
It's strange seeing a winger win a game for us.

Bale, Wilshere, Lewandowski. ( I know they are not directly in Nanis mould at all but they are all players you could buy from the sale of Nani.)
At present all three are far better ( from a non bias point of view)
Two of them don't play in his position and the other we'll never be able to buy (not that we'd have a chance of getting Wilshere either).
Up until the start of this season I thought Valencia was far better, in fact I felt he may mature into a world class winger this season, but Tony has been poor this season and seems to have regressed.
On that basis Nani is the best of the three currently, but you guys would be the first to admit it has not been a good season for your wingers in general.
I think Nani will go in the summer, and you will sign another.
If we are using wingers I would prefer to see him over Valencia. He will im sure, but no way in hell will he start against Madrid.
It's clear to see the difference between Valencia and Nani, one can't cross and the other when on form is truly an excellent player.

He's easily our most dangerous winger, easily.
Did pretty much his standard routine. Did some amazing things and proved himself as probably the most creative player we have in the team. Made a few customary stupid mistakes though too like giving away the 92nd minute freekick and sloppy in possession sometimes.
Ultimately though he's a player where you've just got to put up with that, he'll win far far more points than he'll ever cost.
That's what you get when you play Nani down the right wing instead of the left, we now have Welbeck, Kagawa, Young, Giggs and even Rooney who can play down the left wing so why not just give our best right winger and run of games down the right wing.
But anyway, I'm with Rob on the thought that 60 mins vs Reading is just a starting point. Obviously it's down to Sir Alex to get him in the team more often, but when he does he really needs to produce like he did tonight.
Jesus it's like rawk.
Ok guys, realism here. Nani had a good half, but do you not remember the first game of the season when Hazard had a good game vs Wigan?
All I could read was 'Its Wigan' etc etc.
I took the point on board and the same goes here.
45 minutes vs Reading in the FA Cup does not suddenly mean the rest of the season can be forgotten about, he has had a very inconsistent season.
When hes on the top of his game hes a great player, but that's no good if hes only on the top of his game for one game in the cup, you need a player whos consistently playing well or you can never know what you are going to get when you put them out there.
Give him QPR, get him games, but giving him Real Madrid would be suicidal at this stage imo.
Bale and Wilshere are comfortably better than Nani, and both would almost certainly benefit your team more if you bought them and sold Nani in the summer.
Can't wait for Nani, Young and Valencia to be on form, firing on all cylinders. Our strikers can't go on carrying us forever.
It would be nice to just drop Valencia and play him on the right.
Brainless stuff from the crowd getting on his back whenever he spends even a second too long on the ball. Happens a lot. It's as if they don't want him to be in his element and free to express himself.
He should be starting on that right wing.
