Yeah, hoped for better actually. He just needs a loan spell in the Championship to toughen him up a bit; he's pure gold.

It would still be plenty embaressing to lose against a league two side who's record signing is £45k when playing three first teamers.

That and I never like to see United lose, no matter how strong the side is.
 
Comical defending, Rio's even taken the extra measure of looking like a clown, as opposed to just acting one
 
Good turn and shot by Rossi. He needs a goal really badly for his confidence. You can see how frustrated he's getting
 
I know it's pre season and all and a lot of the players are inexperienced but......

I think games like this go to show that ability isn't everything. There are several players playing who have been built up for months to be the future of Manchester United. In reality very few players ever become good enough to walk into the 1st team.... In the past 2-3 we have had literally hundreds of youth players come through the ranks and how many have been a part of the 1st team? Probably Fletcher and Richardsonand Bardsley (there are a few others too), who are not 1st team starters. I mean I remember watching the youth team a few years ago and they were raving about Chris Eagles. I think it's fair to say that it's unlikely that he'll ever be a Utd 1st team regular. There are so many players like him to be built up but only a handfull ever make it. I see the same tonight. Lots of raw ability on show but to get to the next level there has to be something else. Take Rossi-I have seen him before and he has looked really good and surely one for the future but tonight and the past 5 pre-season games he has not delivered. This is down to inexperience i'm sure so I think to expect him to go straight into the 1st team will be too much of a risk and he should be loaned out.
 
Campbell on for Rooney and Shawcross on for Rio. Hope Campbell can turn the tide.

Campbell is quality.

Reminds me of all the good parts of andy cole. Pace movement and finishing.

Well, I saw about 10-14 games and saw him live at the Youth Cup in Zurich, were he was very poor, a bit lazy, selfish and not the best finisher. On the other hand he's still very young, we'll see

I've been really impressed every time I've seen him. Which isn't a whole lot mind.
