the feck just happened?

this is diabolical.. how many goals are we going to lose form poor defending? is someone keeping count? this is getting worse than the brown-barthez phase..

the only positives i can make from this is ronaldo's form and the fact that the last time we lost to city we came back stronger than ever... can't see it happening this time around, but you never know...

this is becoming ridiculous, as we look for an omen in every defeat.
there's no time to bounce back from yet another defeat.
We've been crap this season, and have along summer ahead of us.
Even if we are lucky against the arse in the FAC, this is still no consolation whatsoever for losing the league.

Looked to me like he was struggling with his injury to be honest u could tell he was not 100%.
Still played extremely well.

you really believe it was a genuine injury against porto? ;)

4 feckin 1 absolutely comical cannot believe the schoolboy errors we have comitted.
Wright-Phillips goal was a good one but close him down ffs don't let him shoot. Major changes needed i think, and some players really need to buck there ideas up and quick.

  :(

FFS.

Ever since the Rio debacle, nothing has gone our way this season; decisions, injuries, luck even, has gone against us. But with that aside, we've played absolutely shite.

Constantly hitting long-balls up to Ruud for him to try and conjure something out of nothing isn't doing us any favours either, what's happended to the quick passing that we're synonamous for?

I just hope we qualify for the CL next-season let alone acquire any silverware on this campaign.

You don't deserve to lose this match but boy am I loving it :D

I don't know, I have no idea, I am speachless. IMO defence is improving, really good match from Brown and we are losing 4 goals. How this can be?? One for sure - we need a team and not new signings. There is potential but no team-work.

I love this club even more, week by week.....

My support for the club is not in question but certain players are not upto the grade and Fergie needs to either pull them aside and give them major hairdryer treatment or ship them out. Defence played well against Porto and then plays like a sunday league team. Rio is so badly missed.

just as Gary Neville is.
But there is more in it than one or even two players.

That would do for me. A team full of Mancs to beat a team full of scousers.

Scousers - United: 4-1

 :D

Sorry but that was just not good enuff, I argued with some one who said we are in decline the other day but aftwer watching the match today, I have to say we are in serious decline, and a lot of our so called top players are just not up to it anymore unfortunately. Giggs(Woeful today),butt(Useless), scholes(yesI know he scored), keane(yes hes In decline), Solksear(unfortunately won't be the player he once was) are just not up to the task anymore and most of our buys apart from Ronaldo and Howard are niether good enuff or need time to blend. Fergie has got to take SERIOUS decisions in the summer of who to get rid of and who to buy.

What can I say ? I'm feel so disgracefuly about today's match  fecking City 4-1 I just don't believe, what a bad day, and what a bad week :( :( :(

Strange result... we played shittily but still had some possession and pressure on them but yet they played in patches and outscored us!

but i guess their players rose to the occasion and ours didn't.

Ruud didn't had a decent shot at goal, Giggs was his usual misfiring self, Butt's best contribution was kicking Distin's ass, Micky made a mickey out of himself, and Howard couldn't do much about it...

On the contrary, Sibierski was pulling the strings in the middle, Distin and company were winning all the headers, Fowler and Macken were defending from the front, and Wright-Philips was given all the time in the world to put the final nail in our coffin...

For god's sake, no matter how down we are, this being a derby game, I expected more fight from the boys, but....

The point was made on Sky Sports that if games lasted only 45 minutes, we would be top of the league by one point.

It has been our second half performances all season that have let us down badly and today's was perhaps the worst of the lot.

United of the past have always come on strongly in the 2nd half - certainly 2-1 down to Man City at half time would not have worried us too much last season - especially with the way we were playing in the first half but we just didn't seem to want to know in the second half.

I can't believe Silvestre's mistake... our best defender this season... i hope this doesn't affect his confidence. :nervous: :(

Perhaps its the end of the 'strong second half performances' era   :wenger:  :o :( :annoyed:
