Nobody really stood out, O'shea was having a stormer until he went off. Scholes was very, very quiet. RVN took his goal well and worked hard but never really stood out.

For me it was Ryan Giggs. It was a joy watching him tell that dumb brazillian to go feck himself, he showed flashes of skill that no other player is capable of and as well as scoring himself had a hand in RVN's goal. Class.

Seconded. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Third-ed... a storming return to form for our Ryan, starting with Juve away and getting better since.

MOM for me is Ole - not only did he put 2 dangerous & beautiful crosses which Becks wud have been proud of, the 2nd resulting in Giggs' equaliser, he managed to get Campbell sent off, thus meaning Cygan will be taking his place for 4 matches, which means probably a couple of lost points for the Gunners! :p ;)

O'shea,he manage the left defence well in the match.Arsenal had been forced to attack us from right side in the second half(Gary........kick him off)!

You should qualify that kkcbl. On Sky last night and on Talksport this morning, there was dispute over whether Campbell should have walked, but no-one attributed any blame to Ole. You make it sound like he did it deliberately!

I would also vote for Ryan Giggs as he worked very hard and caused them trouble all night with his clever back-heels and runs, and he got a hand in both of the goals we scored.

Ruud came to second and I think his form is exceptional. Although he didn't get the ball many time as he was tightly marked by opponent, every time he got the ball it looked like he can do something with it.

 Heaven forbids!

Ole wud never go down delibrately to get a player sent-off - he's no Shearer! <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />

My apologies if I sounded so, but his being fouled by Campbell has hopefully had a desired consequence for Utd, hasn't it? ;)

( unless Campbell gets let off by the FA or Cygan suddenly becomes a centre-half! )

Personally I thought Rio Ferdinand was our best player. Had Henry and Bergkamp is his pocket the whole game. Little did he know that the linesman never knew the offside rule.

Giggs or Rio. Can't choose. But JOS shone again.

Giggs, Rio & Ruud all worth a mention. Wes and Butt both worth a mention for poor perfomances.

Wes came off dizzy after trying to keep tabs on Pires, and I dont know what was wrong with Butt. I've never seen him so sloppy. I think he's been great all season, but he picked a funny game to have a stinker.

Giggs was class

Ruud DID stand out, he was awesome. Apart from the goal he did everything well.

Rio was a rock. That will have given him a real confidence boost. Top marks.

Anyone know why Scholes was so quiet. Very strange.

Barthez did well also.

Generally very pleased and proud. Hope I feel the same way after Blackburn and Real
:D

Cause he prefers playing midfield IMO. He's a class player but its difficult to fill the role he's playing in if its not your natural position. This also answers the question why Ruud sometimes drifts away - he's too detached.
