Man of the Match vs. er, I think it was West Ham

I'd go with Ruud. Scored a couple, first one was quality, and set up Solskjaers. Great performance, he was everywhere up front.

Ouch.

has to be ruud. thought he was quiet in the first half, but 2nd half was great - back to his form of last season - viz his first goal.
whole team played well though. thought rio was really solid at the back.
Just got back from the game, and have had a lovely hour and a half's fun driving past the West Ham fans on the M6. A556 was totally clogged as usaual - its mauch better to take the M56 to Lymm and join M6 there, M6 itself was pretty congested as well. The cockneys will have a really long and miserable trip back down to the smoke after a 6 - 0 defeat. Serves them right as well after their outrageous win 2 years ago.
Whats all this "iron, iron" that they keep chanting ? More like a bunch of iron-hoofs I think.
They really did look poor though, can't see them avoiding the drop.
Becks got subbed about 15 minutes from the end. Just as we got out of the ground, we were all stopped going over the bridge for David, Victoria and the kids together with their entourage of guards and minders to get into their smoked-glass black van, and drive. Not bad if you're a star and can get away from the ground 5 mins after the final whistle.
Anyway a 6 - 0 victory shows we're playing towards our best again, and ALL the players are participating and playing their part. Rest of the season's looking pretty good at the moment.

thought ruud and rio looked particularly outstanding today. veron played some good stuff after an initially shaky start. also thought keano showed signs he is starting to get back to his best :D

My man of the match was Rio as he was superb and showed at last why Fergie bought him and he also gave the ref a slap which was inevitable considering west ham's offside equalizer at upton park - Good on him

OK, I'm unmasked <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> ;)

I'm aware that when a team scores 6, the man of the match is not the keeper...But I knew that nobody would vote for him and as he made some good saves he deserved a little vote.

Stanley Road:

Veron absolute class, see the way he walked off. Brilliant!!! <hr></blockquote>

Were Silvestre and brown both injured yesterday or were they just rested??? ;) ;)

The vote should go to the whole team, though in terms of an individual standing out for hard work and quality - then I'd give it to Jo Cole !

I felt sorry got the guy. Come and play for a decent team lad, one that pile of guttless losers have dragged you down to the Nationwide
