Man United - Aston Villa [FA Cup]

bollox a blind man on a galloping horse could see he's not playing well, far too many spurned chances, drop him now he needs to think about his form

He isn't playing to his ability, no. But you are going to be the fool who turns around and praises him when he regains his form - which he won't do on the bench. Besides, who the feck is going to come in and replace him?

Lets not forget he isn't playing well by his standards, but he still fights and shows up and is trying to make things happen.

I know it's been said before, but Rooney is not on form at all. How many times in that first half did he pass it against the Villa player, losing possession? His touch has been abysmal aswell.

He probably could have done with the ten days off.

So far, Carrick and Larsson have done pretty well. Rooney works hard and set up chances, but still not sharp in the box.

We have to make sure we create chance after chance, constant pressure, something I miss

I wish the commentators would shut the feck up about Agbonlahor
Agreed, haven't seem him do a fecking thing all season and commentators wank off over him because he's lightning quick.

So was Bellion FFS.

I agree with that, but I think the fact he doesn't want it is what made him so special in the first place.

Great game from us in the first half. Just the goals are missing.

Richardson/Diarra must be in shock. Larsson can miss a chance too! :wenger:

agree about agbonlarhor, i said this after the chelsea game, all he does is run run run, cant score, cant shoot, he's fecking david bellion in disguise i tell you

They said Rooney refused to take the 10 day break, and the commentators were praising him for that... I think he needs a break from football for a while to relax and reset, so he can come back on top form. I like the boy, but sometimes he's too stubborn for his own good.

Yes.

I think with more experience he'd have accepted the break... at the moment he's fighting himself and his frustration too much.

What the feck are you guys on about now? Larsson has been brilliant considering his first game at premiership level!

What the feck do you want, a hatrick and 3 assists?
I would have taken that. :D

(but I agree)

Anybody else impressed by Carrick toady? Without Scholes there, I think his passing has been top drawer. Some great through balls for Larsson and Rooney. He has also covered well defensively. Good player.

of course i'll praise him when the form returns and he starts scoring on a regular basis, but the fact is he is simply not scoring enough, after all thats why we bought him.all i'm saying is that he aint producing the goods

Done well. Can only help with his confidence going into the second half of the season!

I think Carrick has been excellent today, his accuracy and vision have been the source of a lot of chances.

Why would you people say "we will win" ?? Why jinx it? at this rate we won't score if we shoot from 6 yards out each time. Say: "I hope we can put one in finally!"

Larsson has been great, I wish Ole had the pace to partner him this game. Imagine 5 years ago!!!

Rooney :( And can we get rid of the fuking Xmas smileys already? I hate to say this, but SAF shoulda sent him to party for 10 days. He just needs a week off to relax.

Park... come on!!! get in there! Perfect set up by Gaz.

I hope PIG doesnt fall asleep back there.

That is all.

Oh, and we need Scholesy like mad.

With a bit of urgency here in the 2nd half, we should take this team. No fannying about!

I can't argue with that, but the point is that too many people are getting on his case and even some nobs saying he is "overhyped" and "not world class" and have the nerve to call him "shit". He should have taken the break, yes. But he is special because he is stubborn and he gives us much more even when not on form than 99% of the rest of the premiership strikers when they are not.

Just logged on to say that Larsson has given me a hard on already. But I'm sure there must be gimps slating him on here for missing a couple of chances.

I think hes been brilliant for his first game.

On to the second half then.

That was a good perfomance from Larsson, your guys only judge on Goals and assists:nono:

Can't believe we still haven't score, whats wrong with our finishing.

Carrick IMO best United player on the field, Larsson comes close after

offside but great save
