Man United - Forlans new team

FAO viewing posters, does it look as if Villareal are playing for a 0-0 draw?

Nope, but they are being cautious. I think Man Utd will get the goal, RVN looks very hungry.

We're labouring in midfield somewhat, in the opening minutes we moved it very quickly through the centre of the pitch, now the likes of Fletcher or Smithy are dwelling on it just a bit too long and its giving the dirty Spaniards a chance to get tight to them and others.

O'Shea is a completely pointless Football player. Why not play Richardson? Theyre not getting that much down the right so he wouldnt have had to do that much in the way of defending, and besides, its a game we need to win, O'Sheas passing has been dreadful and he takes 10 times too long to do things.

Travis.

Rio looking very composed. Are we seeing a return to form from him?

Looks like it. Especially, liked how he shaved the back of Lucho's leg with his cleet for diving.

Smith doing ok...he did have a couple bad giveaways though.

Fletcher looked good. And I'm not a huge fan of Fletch.

Scholes looks to be moving along with picking up his game. Very good movement of the ball and getting back to defend, well.

Rooney...eh, he's had better matches.

RVN struggling against a very determined V. Real defence.

O'Shea defending well.

Ronaldo not doing so good. The few touches of the ball were given back to V. Real.

theres a certain inevitability in our play recently, we are going out and looking like we believe we can score, rather than just hoping. ruud, rooney and scholes are having great games. even o'shea and fletcher aren't playing anywhere near as bad as some muppets here are making out. fletch in particular has played some amazing passes, if anything he's trying to be too ambitious, but at least it shows he's confident, all this and he's out of position, again.

Why does it always rain on me.

Cheer up, we've played well against a well organised team, if we keep it up we'll win this game, no one has been terrible.

So he didn't lose the ball did he?

So, nothing he has done this season matters in this game so get behind him.

yes, but the fact is that he is trying things that he shouldnt be. theres no need for the risk when one mistake could end our champions league campaign for the season.

i am supporting him...

He couldnt go back to the keeper, there was a Villareal player there, he dealt with the situation as best he could. He's played well today.

He has been woeful to be fair.

I think we've been pretty good, we've looked a threat atleast and we certainly havent so far in the competition. Scholes is doing really well. But we still havent scored so I think its pretty natural to be a bit edgy.
