Ronaldo!!!

What a strike! It goes pretty much down the middle of the goal, but the balls moving all over the place. Keeper should save, but I wouldn't envy him trying to save it

Shock horror, Stoke have come to sit 11 men in their own half, and keep the score down. That said Higginbottom breaks forward, and they do try to get a few folk forward on the counter attack. Long throw for Stoke, Delap time
 
Ohh John O'Shea was that, nodded onto his own crossbar? Might have been touched away by Van Der Sar, got away with that one. Delap struggled in his throw in run up, slope of the pitch not suidted to him

Ronaldo full of tricks out on the left, Stoke shit it everytime he gets the ball. Tevez nearly put O'Shea through on goal, comes to nothing
 
Faye all over the shirt of Tevez, if the ref has anything about him he'll come back and have a word. Plays on for now though, Ronaldo has a cross cut out intended for Berbatov. Ball comes back out, Ronaldo cuts inside past two on the edge of the area, but a weak strike easily collected by Sorensen
 
No time on the ball for Stoke whatsoever, United impressive at regaining posession quickly, clearly seazing on Stokes aprehension. Atmosphere is a bit quiet, probably wondering if Stoke will give us a game today, or just take a beating
 
Tevez playing the ball over the top again, a direct type ball that clearly Fergie must have targeted prior to the game, its happening so often. Park caught offside this time though

Stoke break and Fuller has a chance, but get it stuck under his feet and is crowded out
 
Some slick football from United, with John O'Shea at the heart of it!!! Carrick and Berbatov also involved, but once again breaks down, no suprise given how many Stoke get back when we have the ball
 
Stoke have about a minute of posession, but its all between their own back four, and eventually it just gets punted back to United. Appears that's what we're up against today
 
United have been good up until the box thus far seems Berbatov and Tevez don't know how to play with each other yet. United have consistently got the got ball to the edge of the box yet not created a chance.
 
Berbatov throws himself to the ground so impressively I thought it was Ronaldo!

Stoke about to bring ex Preston and Leeds striker Richard Creswell on, must be an injury
 
Brilliant touch by Berbatov to bring that down and set up Park who drove the ball into a Stoke player

Brilliant piece of control by Berbatov, stuns the ball down for Park who stikes again straight at the keeper. Looking forward to the replay of that, great skill from Berbs!
 
Seems United have a Delap-proof pitch

Stoke spent most of the last minute or so attacking though. Which leads to a United break, but Ronaldo's flick gives the ball back to them

Evans destroys Fuller on the far side of the pitch and is called for a foul, although the tackle was not a foul, despite being called one
 
Evans accidently stands on Fullers hand to give away a free kick out wide. Fair play to Stoke, trying to get something back. Van Der Sar comes to collect the cross but misses it completely, very shaky at that these days. Still, he's no Gomes...
 
John O'Shea concerns Sorensen with a poor cross which for a second looks to be arrowing into the top corner, but goes comfortably over the bar in the end

Phil Collins is watching in the stands. Yippee
 
Horrible cross by O'Shea this match is calling out for Rafael, O'Shea hasnt had any work to do at the back and had consistently done poor when he hasnt forward thus far
 
Poor pass by Ronaldo again that was meant for Berbatov, United really could have broke threre
 
United a lot more sloppy the last 10 minutes, cruise control mode perhaps a little early yet, lets get the 2nd before starting any of that. Stoke definately had most of the posession last 5-10 minutes, and their supporters have notably grown in volume

Evra showing Ronaldo how its done out on the left, some great tricks to beat his man! Ball comes across, Park turns on the edge of the area and digs a shot out that goes over the bar
 
Fuller booked for a foul on Evans, caught him late as he was clearing the ball away. Has an amusing hissy fit over it! Definately yellow, shouldn't have any complaints
 
Fuller carded for a late challenge on an Evans clearance, looks like Evans will be fine though
 
1 minute time added on. Ronaldo bursts forward, gets the ball into Carrick in the area. One touch out of the feet, bang and its past Sorensen before he can ever see it. Brilliant stike, United going in 2 ahead at the break
