Man Utd v Aston Villa (EPL)

Team should be

GK: VdS

RB: Neville
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic (Brown if Vida is injured)
LB: Evra

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Giggs

CF: Rooney
CF: Larsson

Subs: Kuszczak, Henzie, Fletcher, Solskjaer, Saha

That is the team I hope we start. I'd leave Saha on the bench only because of his injury. Don't want to rush him back when we now have quality options in that role.

Just read the News that Petrov is going to be out for Villa in this match. Big loss for them.

With all the rumors flying around Milan Baros's future... I wouldn't be suprise if he tries to raise his game again vrs us. After scoring against us in the FA Cup he'll probably get to start and he'll surely want to impress those scouts watching him.

Petrov will not play against us and that's very important.

Our defence must pay attention to Milan Baros, he can be dangerous sometimes.

Saha can be recovered form injury, so Fergie will have problem which pair of strikers should play. :)

We can win this 3:1... Scholes had a rest, so he's ready to score. Ronaldo as always will hunt for goals, too.

I hope Rooney or Carrick will score goals, that would give them extra boost and the team of course. :)

An unbelievably boring game of football, right up untill the 85th minute when Rooney will score a wonder goal from 30 yards out. 1-0. United = 9 points clear.

1-0.Plenty of possession but Villa will make it frustrating.

Looking forward to this
Taking my wife, her 1st visit to OT
her only other match was at Sheffield United about 20 years ago

3 - 1 win, Rooney, Larsson and Ronaldo
but mostly hope for an entertaining match that we win comfortably

Louis Saha is fit to face Aston Villa on Saturday after recovering from a groin strain, but Wes Brown misses out with a virus.

Saha limped off against Newcastle on New Year's Day and subsequently missed the Reds' FA Cup victory over Martin O'Neill's side last weekend. But Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed the French striker is now ready to return.

"Louis is back and will play some part in the match," revealed the United boss at his pre-match press briefing. "But Wes has a virus and will not be available."

So who will start Saha or Larsson?

Larsson, would risk starting Saha, give ten minutes toward the end.

I just hope Park doesn't start, he's rubbish. Infact, i'd rather Rossi on the bench than him too. Overall though, couldn't give a shit about all this stuff, as long as we win the game.

------------VDS------------
---Gaz--Rio--Vidic--Evra----
Ron--Carrick--Scholes--Giggs
-------Roo--Larsson--------

2-0, Giggs, Larsson.

Actually, i would rather Saha start to Larsson as well. There is no point in Rooney and Larsson trying to build some 'partnership' that won't see us through the home run of the season. If a top partnership has to be broken up just before the runi-in, in say, 3 competitions, we may have a problem. I'd rather Rooney and Saha worked on their game, with Larsson being the back up i believe he was signed to be. Of course, if he were to stay until the end of the season, then i wouldn't mind him starting more games.

Larsson - Rooney are my choice. Saha should be a sub alongside Solskjaer.

I've got a funny feeling Larsson won't start tomorrow. Hope he does as it'll be my first time seeing him live tomorrow.

Is Vidic definately starting?

Hope so, if not Vidic or Wes are fit, we will probably play this defence.

Evra - Silvestre - Ferdinand - Neville

Does anyone know if Vidic is available? If he's not i'd prefer to see Heinze in the center rather than Silvertre

start Saha and sub on Larsson.
keep Silvestre out if possible, but to make him feel wanted let him help cut the oranges for halftime.

Having watched MUTV they're under the impression that Larsson will indeed start with Saha on the bench....

I don't like this one bit. Vidic needs rest, Wes has a virus? Evans should have stayed. I would much prefer him to Sly. I would hate for Vidic to be rushed back and then maybe not be able to play vs. Gooners. I say play Sly, rest Vidic.

My team selection would be:

--------------------VDS--------------------

--Gazz-------Rio---------Vida-------Evra----

--Ronnnie-----Scholes----Carrick-----Giggs---

--------------Rooney---Larrson--------------

Subs : Kusczcak,Gabby,Park,O'Shea, Ole

3-1 for United

It is never easy playing the same team this often, but this shouldn't be a problem the way Villa is playing at the moment. In the FA cup they could have kept us out with some luck cus that Király goalie was having the game of his life up until the last shot Ole fired. They're looking tired and out of shape, but they are quite dangerous on free-kicks and corners. If Vidic is back it will give us a boost in these situations. I don't know if I want to see Park on the pitch again after his recent perfomances.

VDS
Gary-Rio-Vida-Evra
Ronaldo-Carrick-Scholes-Giggs
Larsson-Rooney

Maybe Saha instead of Larsson to give him a run before the Arsenal game. It would be important for him.
