Man Utd V Birmingham | Sunday 26 March 06

An easy win, Bruce walks and a new manager comes in and takes three points from his first match in charge against Chelsea on April Fool's Day.

However, we're going to drop points somewhere along the line between now and the end of the season, so I won't mind too much if this is the match we do it in. But it will require an unacceptable level of performance to actually lose this match.

Got to be 3-0 in my opininion.
Blues will come with a defensive formation and the first 15 minutes will be crucial if we can score early it could be a cricket score.
Nothing worse than playing a team on the back of a thrashing though.

I think it will be 2-0 (Ronaldo and Rooney)

And Saha will miss a hatful of chances I reckon but he sets up both goals.

United wait to break 70,000 attendance
Teamtalk March 25 2006

Manchester United are set to fall just short of recording the Premiership's first 70,000 gate when they play host to Birmingham on Sunday.

The Red Devils had hoped enough seats would be opened in the new quadrants for the Old Trafford clash with Blues to allow them to set a new league record and possibly even eclipse 70,504 - the highest attendance to watch a United game at the Theatre of Dreams, against Aston Villa in 1920.

However, while some seats have been released by Trafford Council's safety advisory group, they are not enough to take the potential capacity over the 70,000 mark and Birmingham's failure to sell their entire allocation means United will have to wait until the visit of Arsenal on April 9 to smash through the barrier.

"Tickets are still being made available and will be on sale until kick-off time," said a United spokesman.

"It appears we will fall short of the 70,000 attendance this weekend but we are confident of achieving it against Arsenal."

My only concern is that Ferguson will indulge in one of his moments of arrogance and rest a lot of players.

He's done it many times before and it's backfired many times before too.

Its only a few thousand more than we get now. Won't impact the atmosphere that much. Neither of us are going for the title either.

Hopefully Gaz will score a couple of goals~~

Does anyone know of a site that I could watch the game on????

Im in work and can't get the pplive sopcast etc to connect because of proxy server.

Is there any site that I can watch it through????

Elisha Scott on YAWN just posted the line-up.

-----Van der Sar-----

Neville-Ferdinand-Vidic-Silvestre

Ronaldo-O'Shea-Giggs-Park Ji-Sung

Van Nistelrooy-Saha

Remember that Elisha is Gerrard's mate and always is spot on about line-ups and contract clauses.

Do we have the "Elisha Scott cast iron guarantee" on that lineup?

Absolutely, and DJS' confirmation. After all, he's the official line-up predictor

Will be surprised if we don't get more than one goal against this sorry lot.
