had to start this thread to calm me down, well i know that this game is on SS1 and on a good lot of streams on the net, so i will try and get them, feel free to post a stream of your own.

Let hope there is no thunder or rain on sunday

Cardiff Hasn't had any

And, instead of the customary 6:30am (central time zone) kickoff for many of the EPL games that FSW carries live, this one has an 8:30am (CST) kickoff...so I can get a decent night's sleep!!!! COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!

Let's hope we lose. Can't see us playing a decent team, we have too many injuries anyway, nevermind being thrown in a battle zone with arsenal.

Starting XI???

With tonight's game rained out and some players needing game fitness, I predict we'll see:

--------------------TimHo---------------------

Gary Nev-----Brown---------Silvestre-------JOS

--------------DJx2----------Keano*------------

Smith---------------Scholes---------------Giggs

---------------------Saha----------------------

* I hope he only plays first half, then put in Phil Nev. I want Keano to be rested and ready for Wednesday's game in Romania.

Could match threads be started by someone who knows how to enter

vs

into the start topic.

Feeble fool ;) What about the curse.

I hope we lose 1-0 while having dominated the game. Because seriously I don't want that accursed thing in our trophy cabinet again.

:nono: very Ruud its Cardiff. :)

Schizo?

Anyway I hope we play some of the players who aren't that match fit for about 45 mins and save them for the midweek game.

Hopefully the team will be mainly consisted of youngsters and they get a good experience.

Agreed, except I think Phil will play instead of Djemba x2. Especially with his record against Vieira.

Oops, I forgot, Vieira won't be there.

I don't care if we win or lose, I just hope we really ruffle ze Arses feathers !
And that we play some attractive attacking footy!

The performance is more important than the result in Cardiff.
That's just my 2pence.

How many teams have won the Premieship after winning the CS? I recall us winning it twice (arsenal on pens, and newcastle 4-0). Is tht all?

So is the match just on Sky? or are Itv or the likes showing it?

Is it on Canadian TV. soccertv.com said it was on Roger's but it's not on the schedule and they denied it themselves.
The US has it on FSW but it's not listed for FS Canada.

Any One??????

Arsenal are without Patrick Vieira (thigh) and Sol Campbell (Achilles) but Thierry Henry could be on the bench after an Achilles problem.

Fredrik Ljungberg is set to be rested, while midfielder Mathieu Flamini is waiting for international clearance.

Manchester United are missing Ruud van Nistelrooy (hernia), Kleberson (Knee), Ole Solskjaer (knee), Gabriel Heinze and Cristiano Ronaldo (Olympic duty).

But Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher will play in Cardiff.

Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Almunia, Taylor, Lauren, Toure, Cygan, Senderos, Cole, Clichy, Gilberto Silva, Edu, Pires, Ljungberg, Pennant, van Persie, Reyes, Bergkamp, Henry, Aliadiere, Jeffers.

Manchester United (from): Howard, Carroll, G Neville, Brown, Silvestre, O'Shea, P Neville, Keane, Djemba-Djemba, Giggs, Smith, Saha, Bardsley, Tierney, Richardson, Forlan, Fletcher, Scholes, Spector, Bellion, Fortune.

wATS obvious is i was merely stating a fact, the game is live at the Millenium Stadium. The information was for those that think Man Utd only exist behind a TV screen.
Now, to answer your second question, I'm a TWAT, although it's obvious i'm a cnut.

As far as I can tell, no one in Canada is broadcasting it.

Canadatvsoccer.tripod.com thinks it's on Sportsnet, but it's not on Sportsnet's schedule. It does't appear to be on Viewer's Choice PPV either like it was in the last couple of years.

Changed my mind, I don't want to lose this game, we've broken the curse before, we can do it again :smirk:
Saha is injured for this game aswell.

Cheers sir, guess it's off to me mates to watch on FSW then!

starting XI???

I just read that Saha won't be playing...he has an achilles problem. So, here's my latest prediction:

------------------------Carroll--------------------------

G. Nev------------Brown------Silvestre--------------JOS

-------------------GJx2-------P. Nev--------------------
Bellion------------------Scholes--------------------Giggs

-------------------Smith-------Forlan-------------------

If allowed 3 subs, Fletcher/Eagles/Fortune will get some minutes
If allowed 5, add Bardsley and Spector...

12 players..........intresting tactics..............

Shit, Some of our players are really getting injury-prone. I think Keane will be rested.

I think this be the line-up

Howard

G Neville-------Brown-----Silvestre-----O'Shea

----------Fletcher-----Djemba Djemba----

Bellion---------Scholes------Giggs

-------Smith---------

Subs: Carroll, Phil Neville, Spector, Bardsley, Richardson, Eagles, Forlan

New rules this year... We can only name 5 subs and play 3...
