Think at Bayern Pep couldn't get the opportunity to show how good he is. That team was way to good to be improved, the only way was down. Reckon his spell at City Pep has the perfect opportunity to show what his made off. It's similar in some ways to the Barca situation, taking over a decent side and turning them into an elite one that plays a great brand of attacking football.

Not a huge following obviously but way more than in that one you posted and Napoli is one of the least attractive European away fixtures given all the baggage that comes with it. By the way, this was United in Moscow a few weeks back - personally, I think any fan that travels to either Moscow or Naples to see their team deserves a fair bit of credit and I said as much the other week in relation to reds going to Moscow when a United fan on here was moaning that he couldn't hear United's fans while he was sat at home watching your game:
We've spent an amazing amount of money ourselves, god knows we can't play football like they do. City have spent an eye watering amount of money since the Arabs came to town and yet have never played football at this level. Chelsea turned the market upside down when that Russian bloke shipped into town, yet they've never played football like this. PSG spent a fortune before this summer yet weren't elite, it really took them the sort of signing even city haven't made to be at the top level.
If City can continue their form throughout the season, they will take some stopping. Injuries/suspensions, players form fluctuating could derail them, but I think most United fans are hoping for a combination of these factors, otherwise it will take a monumental effort for any team to finish above them in the PL, not so sure about the CL but they are looking mightily impressive at the moment.

Now I'm not one to cast aspersions but there is no way namco was ever going to go away quietly after copping for the ban hammer and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he tried to join up again under a different username. It could be that Dept3942 is a completely different person to namco but the fact that another user pops up with a very similar MO to that of namco about 24 hours or so after namco was banned seems to be more than just coincidence.....
They have a lot to do before reaching the final: Leicester away may be difficult and then the semis. If they reach the semis and get a good result in the first game, then they will have a good chance but it's too early to say that now.

This is what Pep will bring to English football. It won't be the best of the rest of mediocre / decent teams to win the league, like English football in recent times, but elite teams playing at close to maximum potential.

I appreciate your overall point here but you're talking as if we weren't 1-0 down at Napoli, 1-0 down at Bournemouth and 1-0 down against Everton with ten men. We took two wins and a draw from those scenarios. Throw in the fact that we've missed Kompany, Mendy and Aguero for spells this season and suddenly our ability to deal with adversity improves. I appreciate having a difficult run of form is different to being 1-0 down in a tight game, so I see what you're saying, and I'm not getting carried away until we're the other side of Christmas - but you can't say we haven't already dealt with adversity this season in some form.

They're given far too much respect by opponent teams. Ffs their CB duo is Stones - Otamendi. Not that they're bad CB's but seriously, they aren't troubled enough.
They can't be troubled more when City keep all the possession. ^^
And they are alright with the ball at their feet. And they are fast enough to play a high line. They are no exceptional players, but they are playing in a tactical setup that suits them. And I still think Stones is pretty talented. He will turn out to be a fine player.
