Something money simply cant buy.
He'll be there 3-5 years. All City fans with any interest in the backstage politics of the game know that.Bayern fans thought he'd never leave Bavaria for City and now City fans thinking he's going to be there longterm - it'll all end in tears
They didn't drag themselves over the line, they already were over the line, both in 13/14 and 14/15. In 15/16 there was no slump.Bayern fan to the rescue. Ok you got beaten 3 years in a row. In Bundesliga you can afford a slump after the winter break. In PL not so much especially since there's no winter break at all.
That's what I meant with dragging over the line.
Well, if they win the CL this year, they'll have a proper travelling support /s

You forgot to mention a little figure of 300 million + spent in anticipation and during his time here.Think at Bayern Pep couldn't get the opportunity to show how good he is. That team was way to good to be improved, the only way was down. Reckon his spell at City Pep has the perfect opportunity to show what his made off. It's similar in some ways to the Barca situation, taking over a decent side and turning them into an elite one that plays a great brand of attacking football.
No, they won't.Well, if they win the CL this year, they'll have a proper travelling support /s

No, they won't.
They are a CL win away from being more relevant than us in the current narrative of football. On history, it would take them decades to compete but football is very much a ‘today is all that matters’ sport now, more so than it has been in the past with the increased coverage and social media.
that was taken after the game had finished

We've spent an amazing amount of money ourselves, god knows we can't play football like they do. City have spent an eye watering amount of money since the Arabs came to town and yet have never played football at this level. Chelsea turned the market upside down when that Russian bloke shipped into town, yet they've never played football like this. PSG spent a fortune before this summer yet weren't elite, it really took them the sort of signing even city haven't made to be at the top level. You forgot to mention a little figure of 300 million + spent in anticipation and during his time here.
We can see that. The stewards are cordoning your fans off so the Napoli fans can get away from the stadium. There's no fighting then as rival fans aren't leaving together. It doesn't alter the fact that the picture does show the majority of City fans who turned up for the match. Will have obviously been a few stragglers but not many.
...and due to the age of 5-6 of their players, they are 20-23 y.o. and are likely to mprove further under Guardiola. The potential is scary and they will probably add quality in January too. However, the business end of the season is still 5 months away and they are nowhere near winning a trophy yet. I expect Spurs and United to challenge them for the title. Luck, injuries, suspensions, freak goals, referee decisions, etc. may change things.
I already explained that part. They didn't drag themselves over the line, they already were over the line, both in 13/14 and 14/15. In 15/16 there was no slump.

once again as shown by other people in this thread you're talking absolute horseshite, maybe stick to the united threads instead of continually talking shite in this one.
they, like us, are 4 games away from the league cup
"Fact" you say?
Compare and contrast:
Am i missing something? There are probably slightly more in the lower tier than the upper tier. Did alot of fans go dressed up as concrete steps & stanchions. Suppose it makes a change from dressing up as a blue seat.

That's undeniable. We have to accept that in order to compete will take 2 major things: Heavy investment into at least 3 areas on the pitch and a reassessment of the playing styleIf City can continue their form throughout the season, they will take some stopping. Injuries/suspensions, players form fluctuating could derail them, but I think most United fans are hoping for a combination of these factors, otherwise it will take a monumental effort for any team to finish above them in the PL, not so sure about the CL but they are looking mightily impressive at the moment.
Need to learn it fastWenger doesn't even know how to do that![]()
City fan talking more sense than many united fans. You surely will not exist in Bluemoon with this attitude buddy. They will throw you out and think you are a united fan. We're not way ahead of United, we're probably marginally ahead. United looked amazing too till Pogba's injury. When he's back you'll be back. It's like taking KDB out of the current City team.

Username checks out.I can confirm this ^
I appreciate your overall point here but you're talking as if we weren't 1-0 down at Napoli, 1-0 down at Bournemouth and 1-0 down against Everton with ten men. We took two wins and a draw from those scenarios. Throw in the fact that we've missed Kompany, Mendy and Aguero for spells this season and suddenly our ability to deal with adversity improves. I appreciate having a difficult run of form is different to being 1-0 down in a tight game, so I see what you're saying, and I'm not getting carried away until we're the other side of Christmas - but you can't say we haven't already dealt with adversity this season in some form.Hopefully - a team's real quality isn't apparent until they have to deal with adversity imo. For now everything is rosy with their wins and blowing everyone out of the water. In football things change quickly though, an injury or loss of form to KDB and a few other key players, with a few shaky results and then we'll see how good City really are.
They'd have to be extremely lucky as well as extremely focused/committed to maintain this level over the whole season.
Please, let us be this one on sunday

Don't want to lose 8-0.
Pep's City are raising the bar in English football. It's going to take remarkable consistency to win the league ahead of them.
When he was at Bayern, Dortmund had one of their best point totals but still couldn't win the league.
At Barcelona for Mourinho's Madrid to win the league they had to amass a ridiculous points total, A Liga record if I'm not mistaken.
This is what Pep will bring to English football. It won't be the best of the rest of mediocre / decent teams to win the league, like English football in recent times, but elite teams playing at close to maximum potential.
Imo whether you are a City / Pep fan or not that's something to be appreciated.
Well, at least lose with some dignityThere is no stopping the unstoppable. Not even a bus formed of titanium steel and reinforced glass could halt the wonder that is Pep and and his band of gladiators. Love City, love football.
They can't be troubled more when City keep all the possession. ^^They're given far too much respect by opponent teams. Ffs their CB duo is Stones - Otamendi. Not that they're bad CB's but seriously, they aren't troubled enough.
And they are alright with the ball at their feet. And they are fast enough to play a high line. They are no exceptional players, but they are playing in a tactical setup that suits them. And I still think Stones is pretty talented. He will turn out to be a fine player. They can't be troubled more when City keep all the possession. ^^
