Well, I didn't say it is something to be proud of, but it's certainly not something that I'd worry about long term. Other than Saturday being annoying as feck even if I just watched it from replay.

I didn't expect them to win anything this season and predicted so in one of the locked Guardiola threads ("At what point...") after their win at Chelsea. Because their squad is relatively small, albeit they have several high-quality players on the bench. They overperformed in the league but their small squad meant that they would be gassed come the business end of the season. They visibly got tired in the second half of last two games. They are quite ambitious though and will have a better squad next season.
Both they and Barca are walking the best leagues in the world but have crashed out of the CL. Because there isn't enough energy in the tank. E.g., Otamendi went from one of the best CBs in the league to a clown within weeks. If they had difficult league fixtures, they would fear for the title.

To be fair, it's quite difficult for someone to see his true colours when they are up his arse.
We somehow conspired to lose 5-1 in a very even game. Liverpool deserved to win, as did United at the weekend but in truth we were an inch or two from both being very, very different games unfotunately for us, the balls that were flying in the top corner earlier in the season are hitting the post etc.. lately.
Also Sane has fallen off a cliff and Otamendi has absolutely imploded. Results have dropped but in reality where we were getting the lucky breaks earlier in the season, now they are going against us. In the games v Liverpool alone we've had Salah's first being offside, Robertson pen, our goal ruled out for offside in 1st leg and tonight Bernardo hitting the post, perfect goal ruled out. Everything that feel our way earlier in the season is falling the other way now. Shit happens but no need to panic.

Got to say what I saw from the young referee in the Roma/Barcelona game was impressive (though the initial shot-taker from the late chance for Dembele came from an offside position, too). His career is probably over. UEFA got no time for these youngsters thinking the game needs to be called fair and square.

Perhaps try to shift the blame on Young for Pep not to start with Aguero this game? Only thing make sense to me

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned elsewhere but as far as I can see, in the laws of the game, the offside could be the correct call.
If the attacker is in an offside position and the ball is deemed to come off the defender accidentally (not deliberately played, but deflected) then he’s offside.
My local team Ayr United had the exact same situation at the weekend.

Never said it did? Just another example of Salah turning up when it matters..... check back, said same thing after other games.

Nope Milner attempted to play the ball it doesn't matter besides, Sane was onside when KDB played the pass, thats where the offside decision is made and called. when the City player passed the ball Sane was onside, City didn't do anything else so he's onside.
Not the reason we lost though.

Opposing teams need to learn that if you attack MCFC (and you have some decent players), they will lose. Not draw...but lose.

Conversely, if you park the bus (which almost every team has attempted to do against MCFC)...you will lose.
I do hope that Spurs go absolutely all-out to attempt to score 3-4 goals against these guys. they are there for the taking now.

It’s not.
The current relavant law is if a player is in an offside position when the ball is played by an opponent.
If it was deemed by the official to have deflected off Milner then offside would be the correct decision.

Eh? That’s completely wrong. The ball was deliberately played by Karius, then hit Milner. Sane clearly wasn’t offside.
They got destroyed at the Etihad in December. Kane/Alli should have been sent off in that game.
