Lets see who's healthy, but what I will hate the most is if we played players who are not fully recovered from the virus

Sure they will be weak, plus they'd probably not trained normally for the week before the game
 
If we don't get our first team players bar Rooney back by Wednesday, it is going to be a really hard and long day for us against City.

I hope Park plays but can even he play 3 games in just over a week? He has been brilliant for us on the left wing in the past few games. He usually has a free role and switches places with Hernandez perfectly and helps us score goals. I think he has 4 goals in the last 6 games.
 
If Carrick and Berbatov have the virus now as well I'm not sure how we will line up.
 
We have two hard games coming up. They are both away to City and Villa. And both in the space of within a weak. I really hope players get better soon and hope most of them can play two games in a row.
 
With that bloody virus all over the place its hard to know what the team situation will be, will we lose even more players to it?

Ferguson will have to conduct a body count on Monday before he can finalise his derby-day plans, although he cast doubt on the likelihood of Nani being fit after the Portugal winger suffered a groin injury against Bursaspor in midweek.

"The games are piling up," said the United boss.

"I don't think Nani will be fit on Wednesday but I hope Berbatov will be in to train on Monday."

I say we just wait and see. We're all a bit gloomy about this virus and what the line-up could be, but it may surprise us all.

How many of us would have predicted Hargreaves in the starting 11 today? Fair enough, he didn't last very long but never did I think he'd be in the squad, let alone starting.
 
The most worrying thing about this virus is it seems to be a rather bad one given that Anderson and Gibson are still unavailable due to it and they got it over a week ago.....

Worst case scenario, take all the victims to that shit hole and spread the thing like wild fire, we may lose the battle but at least we'd have given em the shits!

Id fancy that trio to outposession a midfield of Barry/Dejong/Toure any day its totally different class in the passing stakes, unfortunately we don't know if Carrick will be fit, Scholes was struggling today and Fletcher didnt look 100% after that injury in turkey.

Maybe this is the gods giving City a chance knowing full well they're fecked against a full strength United team see last season as proof, league double and whacked em in the carling cup semi finals.

What are htese problems exactly. Win today and City will be 5 points clear of 5th going into the derby 3 points behind United. Not really problems are they. For the record City should have every player fit. At home City should beat United imo with out strongest team

Maybe hes not played that formation becasue hes not had the players available. Balotelli did not play on Thursday night at all so imo hes being saved for United and West Brom today. Tevez plays and so will Silva. johnson will not play imo so its either one of Balotelli, Milner or Barry. Why pay 24 million for Balotelli and not play him??

Because he's got more money to play with than sense, £24m for a young, impact player probably seems worth it in the warped world of "Bobby Manc" and to City in general.

He'll probably play at WBA today but I'd stake my mortgage on Mancini playing as close to the team that beat Chelsea as possible, with Balotelli the least likely to come in, Johnson being the most likely.

do you want a tenner on that. Balotelli plays before Johnson. Johnson in all probability was a Marwood singing where as Balotelli is the one Mancini brought with him. Lat week against Wolves even though it was Balotelli's first game, he kept him on and brought Adebayor of. Then on Thursday Adebayor and Johnson played while Balotelli did not. I don't want your mortgage as I would not like to see anyone homeless, even a rag but imo Balotelli will play before Johnson. In fact I expect Balotelli to start

Whether he was a Mancini signing or not, he's been the best signing made during Mancini's reign, ironic either way..

I'll have a tenner off you, £10 says Balotelli doesn't start the derby. PM me if you want to make this little wager official.
