Manchester City vs. Manchester United

Soooooo nervous, just can't see anything but a City win. And and it'll be a jammy, nasty, ref mistake type win too. And the bitters will love it.

Think Fergie is due a good game tactically. He's been reasonably poor in a good number of big matches this season, but is still the master and we could use him showing it.

My aunt, who has been like a mother to me, was rushed to the hospital earlier today with stroke related symptoms. They think she has an aneurism and they may need to operate. Today's game just went from being the biggest event of the week for me, to absolutely irrelevant.

That being said, when I check in later tonight and discover that United won, it would probably provide me with a welcomed smile

I can't find anything to do except pressing F5 here for the past hour. I may need a new keyboard if this carries on

1.25 episodes of bbt left

I've been playing the fixture on FIFA for the last two hours with different formations/selections. Most successful seems to be the 4-3-3 with Carrick Scholes Anderson and Rafael at RB (he did get sent off, though).

All the best mate.

EDIT: That's to Wittman, it won't quote?

All the best I know how you feel my mum had a stroke few years ago.

Wow, that really is some perspective right there :(

I wish you and your family all the best.

Hope fergie shows the lads a video of the 6-1 defeat.

We need a firing up, they've got to play with revenge in their minds.

It'll be too easy to settle for a draw, just like the CL.

I can assure you they won't need firing up.

Anyone too scared to watch this and instead rely on the matchday thread for updates? I'm actually in that zone now :nervous:

Watch the game mate. I am stuck in a different time zone so frequently have to rely on the Matchday threads or BBC for updates on the score during midweek games as I am at work. Believe me it is far more tense doing it that way.

Team news coming in:

No Carrick, Scholes on the bench and a midfield of Nani - Park - Cleverley - Giggs - Young. With Rooney up top on his own. Evans not even in the squad and Jones starting in the centre with Ferdinand.

No, watch the fecking game. We are all shitting bricks pretty much, man up and shit bricks like everyone else.

If shit was to be THAT random, we might get a win purely on the surprise element.

If Jones plays today I might scream

I love him but he's not ready for a game like this
