Fred’s been good but at the same time some great opportunities for City came from him losing the ball.

If it goes to pens, we may as well forfeit - it'll be over once we miss our first penalty. City will go 5-0 against DDG.

    James on for Greenwood :(

It's a very high risk strategy trying to play it around to beat the press. Definitely on the edge of Fred's ability. He's doing everything he's been asked though. New three-lung in some ways.

No away goals, any draw goes to pens

    Did they change the rule?

Pretty sure the last time I remember Chicharito‘s goal against Sunderland semi final in Moyes era which led us to extra time. Away goal only counted in after extra time.

Can’t be surprised by the change. Greenwood isn’t ready for this level. We need a centre forward in.

Jesus is it me but the Man City fans are one ugly bunch. When they fell out of the ugly tree they hit every branch on the way down

Losing the ball has been a problem for the whole team, we don't look comfortable trying to play the ball out which is obviously what Ole has told them to do. Luckily it hasn't cost us

We had the same issue at OT in the first game (second game against them) mate.
The game changed at OT when Pep decided to adapt to us. Ole adapted again, so right now, James I don't think is the answer.

Also, for what it's worth, at Etihad in the league, James played on the right and we defended without pressing, etc... but recently, due to the lack of creativity in the midfield, we are in the process of pushing our full backs up and James then had to go left or get out of the team because on the right, he behaves like a pure winger.

We're not creating any chances here, though. We haven't created anything besides from the goal, and we have/will spend most of the match chasing the ball.

I think City are playing at their best and we know how to beat them at their best. And that is not to keep it tight and hit em on the break. Why Lingard is no threat. Imagine if we had our best players available?

Agree re the missing players. I’d have fancied this massively before the game if they’d all been fit. This isn’t the city of last year, but they do still have that if they have the motivation to click.

Martial won't even need to have his kit washed. He's barely broke a sweat.
