I am already looking forward for next season...and hopefully we should see a big improvement....also the FA cup should be an interesting game to see who plays and who dont
final placing for 2004 is 3rd !
real disappointing season considering we were leading the table up to late Dec.
the defenders seem ok after a horrible time in Feb, Mar and Apr.
the midfield lack of bites......there is no player who can make a decent cross from either flank......On the right was either gary nevile, ronaldo or Ole....and sometime even giggs..
while on the left are silvestre, o'shea, giggs or ronaldo.
Ruud is more of a finisher,,,if there is no cross he cant do anything.
SAF just used giggs as a left winger...and nothing else..
so we need a natural left winger...let Ronaldo takes the right flank. as for the striker dept, it is up to SAF. but we do need some1 of the Veron or Beckham's calibre who can make pinpoint passes...fletcher give the ball too often.

Well we got what we derserve, 3rd place.But the game today again showed that we are seriously lacking something in midfield, Look at the middle today, when scholes went off, we had phil neville and fletcher, Ruud and Saha hardly had any decent pass to them and if Fergie doesn't pull off a really good signing this summer, unfortunately I see more of the same next season!!.Fletcher should not be starting, we can all see he tries soo hard, but not good enuff "yet??", Giggs was poor silvestre and Oshea(Not really good enuff for LB) were both sloppy!!, just a season to forget really!!.
There be summer of shanges in the summer, we have to buy some creative players in the team. We got far too many average defensive midfielders.
