FT 2-1.

I'm not too happy about the second half. I don't like to see us let up like that.

Things really opened up in the second half. The defence looked vulnerable as Blackburn came forward with nothing to lose really. On the other hand although we didn't score, our performance going forward was impressive. Players linking up very well and several good chances. All the more impressive as many of our lineup have not had much experience playing with each other, or for that matter, playing at all. Very entertaining and a good win.

Agreed DJH - the team got into gear quicker than usual today and I thought Klerberson and Bellion did okay - squad will be all round stronger for the second half of the season with Ole, Scholes and Wes back. I wouldn't expect to see much of Rio after Christmas though.

A draw at the Bridge next week would be a decent result and we need Arse to drop some points whilst their squad is distrupted for a couple of games and they've got some European distractions. Fingers crossed.

Why do we have to make it hard for ourself? Conceding a goal on a counter attack when you're leading 2-0 isn't acceptable. We had many chances to score but the disallowed goal (which of course should've been allowed) should've made us alert in defence. As it was Timmy had to make a number of saves. And this for a team with the best defence in the league? Come fecking on, we can do it much better.

Sure, we could've and should've scored more than two goals and I'm not saying we should've stopped attacking at 2-0 but we should've been more proffessional and humble.

Osterdal are you saying the goal should have stood. Somebody needs to explain the offside rule then to me. Flintcroft was directly in front of howard so he had to account for him regardless of where Yorkie was. Offsides was correct the only question is did the linesman flag york or flintcroft BTW beauty second goal between bellion Fortune and kleberson

And finally CoNGRATS TO THE RUGBY WORLD CHAMPIONS MIGHTY MIGHTY ENGLAND
