Manchester United - Blackburn Rovers

How many of these sorts of games are we going to have to endure this season?

Looks like our 4th home 0-0 game this season.

Arsenal up to 2nd if it stays like this.

Fair play to Blackburn, they're putting everyone back and working their tits off. We need someone who can play that unexpected killer pass, even if its a long one, a Pirlo type player. BTW, Dyer and Bowyer have been sent off for fighting.....each other.

Absolutely awful performance, and Fergie really needs to look at this team in the summer, its just not good enuff. I think we have norwich next week, will it be the same story????.

It's official, title race is over. Unbelieveble. Didn't create absolutely nothing in the second 45

The title race was over long long before this game.

Agreed. Even though we were unlucky in the first half and should have scored (Rooney/Keano hitting the woodwork), ball being cleared off the line, Friedl's great goalkeeping, fact of the the matter is our midfield isn't creating those clear-cut chances for our strikers like they used to.

I don't think we will.

I hope we will because if don't, besides a potentially tricky qualifier, we'll be £5 million poorer, which is pretty close to the extra amount of money we're supposed to raise with the new ticket price increase.

It's been the same all season. We create loads of good chances, we have some of the best strikers playing in this country but we don't score. Bloody Hell.

should have wrapped it up in the first half with those chances...hey stuff like this happens.

If we finish second...win the Cup we'll start next season strong.
..and all those saying we should change most of the team.....they dont have a clue.

We spend all this money on strikers and they can't bloody score, unfortunately our problem now is midfield, too many players who are not good enuff or not as good as they used to be and have lost pace which is very importantin the PL!!.

What the f*ck. I dont understand it. We should have won 5-0.... And our corners....awful..... I would rather lost 0-3 than this f*cking tie....

Hi Red Dreams, I agree we should and could have had it wrapped up in the first half, but yet again we didn't. We may only finish third - that's now in Arsenal's hands - and if we in the Cup we'll be in the same position as we were last year. I had a rare flash of optimism then, but the start of this season put paid to that and I can't feel so optimistic now. But I would love to be wrong.
I agree that we shouldn't have to change most of the team. The main players in the First Team all have something still to offer, but we seem to lack that creative spark - a defence-splitting pass or good run from deep - that we used to. We have players who can pass well, and players who get beat opponents in man-to-man but they appear often to choose the wrong option.
I don't know - I'm just frustrated by it all, I don't see us overhauling Chelsea next year.

no surprise there then :(, the short corners rarely work and the long ones just get wasted

and its about time Ferdinand got his head on one

:( Againts Palace 17 corners....nothing of it......today "only" 9....... nothing of it.

They are taken still by somebody else (Ronaldo, Scholes, Rooney, Fortune)...I dont understand it.... and taking corner for short is the biggest mistake I think. What would we give now for the golden right foot of the golden boy...

P.S. LFC scored today´s winner from their second (and the last) corner of the game.
