hope evra and vidjic play i think ruud and saha upfront with ole on the right wing, giggs needs a kick up the bum, as he was invisible today

If we do not score 8 at least i would be really pissed.

feck

The same team as last time should do the job.

No point playing Ruud & co with the Scousers next weekend.

It's time for the first win in 2006, I think.

the BBC are showing this I think
Yeah they are, if Burton are getting approx £500,000 from gates, how much can they expect to get from tv coverage? This'll be a great little earner for them won't it, fair play to the Bovril boys.

Send out the strongest side we have...wrap the fecking thing up before the break, wholesale changes thereafter. I don't want to hear any bollox about players being 'rested' for Liverpool....because that is total bollox, feck sake, which one of our cnuts can't play 3 games in 8 days. Far too much resting going on for my liking. Resting them for fecking what?

Burton should put their tallest player on the right of midfield...and just smack long balls to him - if Evras playing that is

If not, they should just hope to build on the fact that their CM is better than yours...

-------------VDS--------------
Neville----Rio----Vidic----O'Shea

go in a few goals to the good, take off VDS, Rio and Ruud

Alternatively, play Howard in goal for the whole game, and give Wes a run out somewhere.

Can someone please fill me in on why Vidic hasn't been playing because I have been away for a while and havn't seen any games in a few weeks. Surely he is better than Silvestre to play against Man City?

10 - 0 and i hope the Burton keeper gets sent off after 30 seconds for running into the crowd celebrating them getting a corner.

The previous league he played in finished in November so he hasn't played a game since. Therefore, the time he has spent with united he has been doing Endurance/pre season work. He should start in this match for the first time.

i'm once again looking forward to this one. hopefully bardsley won't be alone in giving a feck this time 'round.

howard
bardsley brown vidic evra
park pique ole kieran

on a decent pitch that team will tear them apart. 4-0. at least

Watch out for Manchester United v Burton Albion
Telegraph
January 16, 2006 Monday
Oliver Brown

SEIZE the day, the people of Burton have decreed. Knowing full well that they could face an onslaught from a Manchester United team piqued by defeat in the Manchester derby, they are still falling over themselves for ringside seats at Wednesday's Old Trafford FA Cup fight night - where football's heavyweight and flyweight divisions become one. Burton Albion's ticket allocation has reached 10,000, with another 300 possibly added today. The club will be dispatching 60 coaches up the M6, while banks and golf clubs throughout the area are scrambling to provide more. It will be some convoy, but then no one, least of all any Burton players, will want to miss an evening such as this. And yet Saul Deeney (pictured), their goalkeeper, very nearly did.

Having arrived at Burton in odd circumstances (nobody at Notts County bothered to tell him he had been released), he was on the verge of leaving when his month-by-month contract expired the day after their glorious 0-0 draw.

His manager, Nigel Clough, was even considering playing Martin Taylor, Burton's 39-year-old goalkeeping coach, in his absence. But a couple of days' reflection in Ireland worked wonders, and Deeney has smartly elected to stay on.

After all, a second date with Wayne Rooney? Memories are made of this.

I've said yes to watch my nephew on Wednesday

I hope my sister's got Viasat SportN :nervous:
