Best team we could put out right now with all the injuries, although I wish Valencia would get dropped.

Januzaj, Kagawa and Welbeck 'should' mean some really entertaining stuff going forwards.

Lingard on the bench as well! Hopefully he comes on for Valencia at some point, either him or zaha. Even boy maybe.
A front four of :
Welbeck
Lingard januzaj zaha
Would be quite good to watch I think although their all obviously young players who have a long way to go.
You would think that with that bench Zaha should surely get on at some time.

Let's hope we don't get a centre back injured or Carrick is in there.

Who does Valencia have to kill to get dropped?
There's really nobody else who could have started in his place though. Moyes won't put zaha there in such an important game, and considering our current form and he's likely low on confidence as well. Our only option was to have kagawa and januzaj on wings and welbeck and Hernandez up front but it would have been a. Disjointed performance probably.

Is this a good or bad side, I have given up with my opinions as what I have thought is a good side usually isn't?

It's best with what we've got available. I'd love to see Zaha given a game just to see something different but Moyes persists with Valencia, who offers the team absolutely nothing.

On a positive, cheery note. With the results today and Suarez probably winning tomorrow, if we drop points today, we're completely stranded.

Surprised Fletcher is starting. Not that he didn't play well last game, it's just that he seems to have been thrown in at the deep end since coming back from illness.

Yeah for sure. Either way you look at it, Valencia only plays well when the rest of the team has a very good game, otherwise he's crap. So take him off if we're having a poor game, put on zaha. On the other side, if we're having a very good game, then he should still get some minutes in an easy game.

Isn't it bad that I will be glad when we get to 40 points. I can't ever remember thinking that.

Lindegaard, Büttner, Cleverley, Giggs, Lingard, Zaha, Hernandez

Is there not a central defender from the reserves or youth team who Moyes could promote to the bench? We;'ll have to put Carrick in defence if one of them pick a knock today.

Great team. But, at this point I feel a bit sick every time I see Valencia in the team. Strange how the quickest player in our team can be the one that slows us down the most. He will waste attack after attack.

Good side... always like seeing Smalling play at centre back, and it's time for kagawa to do something in his favoured role.

I'm starting to wonder what it would actually take for Valencia to be dropped though...

Well that's clear isn't it? Valencia is undroppable.

It would help if we had somebody else to play there, but fletcher was always going to play a lot of games considering we don't actually have anybody else to put there.

Valencia again! Shiieeeeet.

Otherwise it is a fine lineup that normally shouldn't have a problem to defeat Swansea.

Not sure what to think of that line up. I can't remember if Smalling and Vidic have played together before. Not sure how good they will be as a pair as they are both fairly similar style defenders. Should be very solid in the air at least.

Rest of the team looks average to good. Nice to see Lingard make the bench, I've liked him every time I've seen him play on both tours

Valencia will have a blinder today just to piss you lot off

Nothing would make me happier, he actually plays well most of the time and that's why moyes keeps playing him, it's his atrocious crossing that's hurting us and the opposition fullbacks.

I think they played most of 2010/11 together, when we won the title. If I recall they built up a pretty good partnership. Terrible on the ball though, both of them. It's basically as good a team as we can put out right now, which is a bit sad.

I swear, I will shoot my TV if we start giving the ball to Valencia for the entire game again.

Only we have no cover at CB if there's an injury

Down to injuries though so you can't really moan in fairness. Fergie played Carrick at CB at the start of last season because everyone else was injured. At least we have two fit centre halves starting this one.

Team I wanted to see Valencia aside although atm not much other choice. I really hope we allow kagawa/januzaj to tuck in and play of each other. Might be good if Valencia tucks in as we've seen at times as well.

Zaha has it in him to play slightly less shite than Valencia, I'm sure.

It's not exactly helping his confidence to continuously get dropped when at least one of our wingers plays absolutely gash in pretty much every game.

Oh well, at least Cleverley isn't playing. That's something.
