Manchester United v Blackburn Rovers

Sir Alex could spring yet another surprise. Most likely rest would be given to players like Park, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Carrick, Scholes and Berbatov.

-----------Van Der Sar -----------------

--Rafael------Vidic -----Evans ----Evra--

-Ronaldo --Fletcher ---Giggs ----Nani---

---------Rooney -----Tevez ------------

Giving one more game to Evans, and allowing O'Shea a few more days to shake off his ankle injury by playing Rafael. Ferdinand to rest his back, Zamora crashed onto his back during the Fulham game. Brown, Carrick, Scholes, Berbatov on the bench to come on if needed.

He's missed his chance I'm afraid. That transexual O'shea has picked up looks pretty convincing, doesn't he?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I actually laughed out loud for a good 2-3 minutes. Quality stuff

We need to give ronaldo a rest. He should be on the bench but not brought in unless we need a goal.
Who should play winger then? Nani will play tomorrow, but Park played 90 min against Fulham and I'm sure he will start on tuesday so doubt he will play tomorrow. Ronaldo can play every game, no worries.

Benni McCarthy says BlackBurn have the physical aspects United are wary of.

Think BlackBurn have more pace than Fulham.

How to counter it?

If I find a stream as good as the one I had for the Fulham game I will be very happy, it was almost TV quality and not one slow down all match along with English commentary.

United 3-0 Berbatov, Rooney, Evra

Samba is suspended for Rovers, is he important for them?

He's an half decent defender and big bugger too! I'm sure it'll be a loss for them.

Anway, is it me or have we been on Setanta an awful lot this season, my bloody Sky Subscription as been worthless this year it seems!

Man Utd Squad
Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, O’Shea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Ronaldo, Carrick, Gibson, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Fletcher, Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez, Welbeck

Starting 11

---------Van der Sar

Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra

Ronaldo Fletcher Giggs Nani

------Berbatov Rooney

Subs
Foster
O'Shea
Evans
Carrick
Scholes
Park
Tevez

O'Shea is a slight doubt so expect to see Rafael start. Its better to play Vidic in this game so we dont risk Evans picking up an injury. Imagine both him and Vidic being unavailable for Inter Milan. The BBC say Fletcher will feature so I pair him with Giggs. Both were rested in our last game. Park should also be saved for Inter which means Nani will play. Rooney and Berbatov reunited in attack.

Team selection will be interesting for this one considering we'll play Inter on Tuesday and the Carling Cup final next Sunday. I'd probably go with something like this:

Van der Sar
Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Fletcher - Giggs - Nani
Berbatov - Rooney

Scholes, Carrick, O'Shea, Evans, Park and Tevez will play their role on Tuesday. I really hope Nani gets another chance to prove his worth in the league, it's been ages since he started a Premier League game for us (at least it feels this way). Looking at Blackburn's last league team selection I can't really see much of a problem, especially if Samba is suspended. A midfield consisting of Pederson, Dunn, Grella and Andrews looks absolutely shocking on paper.
Vidic will take care of McCarthy and that's about it - 2-0.

Anyone looking for a stream just before the game starts should install the Veetle plugin as soon as possible, if the game indeed is shown on Setanta there will be a quality stream available. Same goes for FSC.

Reckon the team selection might reflect the selection against Inter.

I'm worried we will make too many changes today.

What do you think about the game?

Big Sam will come to frustrate.Going to be a good test for our forward line.

Blackburn don't have Friedel anymore so this should be an easy victory.

It's like that old chestnut

Buttered Toast always lands butter down (Friedel awesome against United)
Cat always lands on it's feet (United beat Villa)

What happens if you strap the toast to a cat's back

:P

But to today's game, not feeling massively confident right now about it, am worried about Rooney picking up another hamstring injury late in the game if we are chasing the win still

-------------VDS-------------

--O Shea - Rio - Vidic - Evra--

CR7 - Fletcher - Scholes - Nani

------Rooney - Berba --------

5-0 win

Looking forward to some more sexy football today, whoever plays

Yep, they've been poor defensively recently and I can see us ripping them apart as long as we play either Rooney, Berbatov or Scholes.

3-0.

3-0.

You sure about that

I don't think they have let in an away goal under Allardyce, or that's what I read/heard
