Manchester United v Blackburn Rovers

that was an open invitation for the dippers to close the gap. They might as well send em an sms. "Right lads, here's a chance to close the gap"

They need the feckin hairdryer at ht. It's alright talking about patience but passing is very sloppy, nobody moving off the ball. You can even see it at corners, no jostling, no urgency.

The goal was carelessly given away initially by Nani, then no defence, and PIG went to ground far too easily

Oh, and the support is abysmal.

Now is not the time to pass around blame. We conceded, it happens in a game of football from time to time. How we respond to this goal is the true measure of our team. Forget the record, it was never important. Getting 3 points from the game today was always the target.

Yup

We played well before the goal. Probably shocked us a bit. Hope Fergie gets em playing the way we were doing in the first half.

We were asking for that. Doesn't matter if you've gone however many games without conceding, you don't take your foot off the fecking pedal when you're 1-0 up with two thirds of the game left to play.

We've done exactly that, and now we're having trouble stepping it up again.

Hopefully we'll get back on our game in the second half. We're on a great run but that's no excuse to start arsing around and risk dropping stupid points

Lol! A lot of jokers on here...

Well done to the defence for the record, now it's time for our attack to pull their fingers out. We should beat them quite comfortably.

Looks like the OT pitch is going through it's annual dodgy spell again.

I didn't think we took our foot off the pedal after we scored. If anything we looked even more dangerous. It was just a sloppy mistake that came out of the blue.

Nani and Scholes are far more to blame, not much PIG could do. Santa Cruz just finished well.

Rio put a tackle in that would force Santa Cruz to go wider he didn't expect PIG to come rushing out aimlessly. Van der Sar would of been in a prime position on his line.

Nani is as much at fault though for leisurely trying to pick the ball up rather than coming towards it.

We should be out of sight with the amount we have had of the ball in dangerous areas.

On Evans disallowed goal, the contact between Ronaldo and Nelson wasn't all that much. Pedersen's challenge of Rafael didn't even account to a fecking foul in Webbs book shocking.

That's uber positive by your standards, Noodles.

If anything Rio got in his way. The keeper is supposed to come out.

He's not to blame at all.

Goals done and dusted, but if hadn't have come out and trusted Rio, even if he got past Rio, he still has the keeper to beat, rather than rolling it into an empty net.

We were letting them have too much of the ball, and we'd never have conceded that goal if our players had been on their game. There were at least three of them lapsing when they could easily have dealt with it before it became a problem.

It happens from time to time when you're on a run like ours. We need to step it up in the second half though

So, in your world, the central defender steps aside to allow the opposing team's forward an open look at goal in order to not be in the keeper's way?

Come on boys lets show these cnuts what happens when you have the cheek to score against us!

We've had a lot of goals disallowed for feck all reason this season. Must be well into double figures by now

saf has instructed the refs to disallow goals so as to avoid suspicion of match fixing.
